I don't understand how bell has to be surprised or in disbelief on a weapon that can burn the seas when he has the potential power to remake reality just from how powerful the lords are along with the first flame and the many succesors inheriting it stretching onto eons and more.

Having characters appear like Chester did just feels so artificial, not to mention ruins all of Bells uniqueness in being an isekai returnee

I wonder if Velka is showing our Chosen Undead here, what with Crow's being connected to her and what not. She is the closet thing to Dark Soul's patron goddess of humans and the persecuted of the Lords. Keeping them safe, locked away in the Painted World because 'locked away' doesn't mean imprisoned.

I think that Velka's title of Goddess of Sin and Rouge Deity was cooked up of the Gwyn and the other lords as propaganda. With her efforts and tidbits of lore suggestion that she did everything she could to help the people in the Painted Worlds and her followers helping people absolve themselves. It would be more accurate to say that Velka is a Goddess of Sins that were set right and a strong candidate to be the Furtive Pygmy.

Here's hoping that the Crows help drive out Fels spy owls when Bell and Co. pick up Wiene.
