Yeah, really noy enjoying your Ron. I get he got jealous a lot in the books, but it was never to a super insane degree, and he could still be relatively rational about it. I also don't think he would be that lazy, especially around this time.

Not sure I like how you're writing Ron, I expected better after reading your newer fics. However, I won't judge you based off of your older work.

I will say, I feel like it's a bit out of character for Neville to do that, at least at this point in the timeline. Would have made more sense for Ron to react like that, we already know he has anger management problems and his loyalty to Harry always shows itself most when he's in danger. Still, not a big issue.

Are you going to finish the remaster?

It had been awhile since you’ve uodated this work but after first reading through your other works I can see how you’ve taken inspiration from one for the others and vice versa, and it’s nice to see a general continuity between fics of what x would be like if y happened. Having read the Roses fic before this one, I highly appreciate how you made that fic likely reflect the events you made in this one, and same with your Bellatrix/Harry and Narcissa/Harry fics.

I will admit I was disappointed at Luna’s unexpected death, but it was very tastefully done thematically, and especially on a meta-thematic level. I can’t say I hate the choice, nor even dislike it because it had the impact it should have. Luna’s presence at The Burrow was unexpected in itself, so her death as a casualty of The Burrow raid truly helps capture the horrors of war if it hadn’t been felt already through Hagrid’s and Madame Maxime’s death or by any of the things you had Harry put a stop to. Whether or not it was a purposeful choice on a meta-level to choose Luna I do not know, but I hope it was. That Luna is both a side character but also highly beloved in the fandom made l her death all the more impactful thematically for me, and again, I hope that this was a purposeful choice for that reason because of how well it contributes to those feelings of hopelessness, lack of control, and the unpredictability of warfare.

I’m sorry to hear you were receving death threats at the first publishing. One would think that with the moral lessons you were trying to show the characters learning, that those people would be smart enough not to do that. Either way, thank you for writing the amazing stories you have, and for rewriting this one. Cheers to your endeavors both in writing your fanfics and in your non-fanfiction life.

TBH the pairing feels forced the amount of chapters it took to introduce and start developing it have been too many and their interactions do not feel me with much hope for their relationship.
