I am pleased to see that you care enough about your readers to remaster your story. I first tried to read the German translation. That is a very frustrating experience because the translator cannot interpret typically English expressions into correct German and with normally easy expressions he displays an enormous neglect of the Germam grammar. I was 'not amused' to see that the original had quite some mistakes and I am delighted to see that you do such a good job remastering the text.

I'm quite enjoying your remaster of your story, little bit sad* that it only goes up to chaper 12 in the remaster, but I guess I can continue with the original.
*sad being the easiest term i can think of to display my view over words like disappointed and other rot as they may imply a sense of anger or that you might owe people to continue writing this.

I do have one thing that's quite different from my above review.
"Yes, thank you. Finally there's another person who shares a similar view about Luna and isn't afraid to say this, she's a lovely character and may even bring a small amount of convenience once or twice to a single scene in a story, but you don't need to worship her as some sort of diety in fanfic that people use her unique view of the world to get away with doing.

Luna was really the only viable option tbh. Arthur was in the hospital if I'm not mistaken, Charlie's out of country, Bill was rarely ever home even when he is in country (likely has his own apartment, or rents something through his work at Gringotts),.

Gred and Forge didnt get their 1000 Galleons from Harry but they're bright and probably found other investors. Or they nicked Harry's vault key from Molly and borrowed the money, since Harry had shown interest in their joke shop idea even before Third Task. Canonically the Weasley family have had Harry's vault key for over 2 years, they got it when Sirius escaped prison summer and everybody thought he was hunting Harry and never gave it back during or after the Triwizard, and since Harry disappeared in this fic Molly or Arthur would still have Harry's key.

Ron couldn't die because he's really the only Weasley who would verbally assault Harry for not being their Hero-in-a-box, there to insult anytime Ronald wants to try and make himself feel better by bashing on Harry, but when things go rough he'll beg "please save us Harry". Percy is the only other person who 'might' verbally attack Harry, except he didn't have any reason to "just happen to be at Hogwarts" when Harry attacks Umbridge. And honestly since there was no smear campaign against Harry after his presumed death and disappearance, Percy arguably wouldn't have a hate-boner for Harry like he did in canonical OOTP.

That accounts for every possible canonical Weasley, excluding Molly and Ginny, and since Luna and Ginny were somewhat friendly due to being in the same classes, she's the only real alternative to make it three victims. Or Artur had to recover much faster, and instead of 3 victims it's the entire Weasley clan (excluding Percy and Charlie) because they'd all be at home to be with a mostly recovered Arthur... and there wouldn't be anyone at all to attack Harry over not protecting them.

As it is, Harry should have honestly laughed and pointed out Ron's flaws. Did Ronald have any intelligence his family was being targeted, if so why did he keep it to himself? If not, then why does he expect Harry to have somehow known something Ronald didn't know either? Harry's only one man, he can't be everywhere at once and therefore cannot stop all attacks, only the ones he hears about or stumbles into. He stumbled into saving the veela and Lady Greengrass, he only glanced at the map to escape Hogwarts not specifically to save Daphne and then attack Umbridge, but no magic map of Britain means he literally can't watch the Burrow permanently. In otherwords, Harry really needed to bitchslap Ron and tell him to grow the fuck up.

I really enjoyed this story and hope you update it soon. I love your handling of Harry and especially the family magic as combat magic was one of the many things I feel was severely lacking in canon as most fights semed to boil down to stunners, unforgivables and a handful of other spells. While I don't like that you killed off Luna as she is one of my favorite characters as the author you have every right to do so and getting hate at the level of death threats is utterly uncalled for and pathetic especially since this is a work that no one has to read, if they dislike it that much they should at most just simply review saying they didn't like it for x reason and then fuck off. I really can't wait to see more of harry and daphne and want to see how Harry interacts with Hermoine (I don't really give a fuck about Ron) when he reconnects with his schoolmates if he ever does so. I also look forward to the duel with Nott and hope to see some interesting magic in it. Overall, I really enjoyed this story alongside all your other works that I've gotten around to reading and I eagerly await another chapter of it.

And where were the male Weasleys, if school was out and Ginny and Luna were home with Molly? Ron never does anything but eat and wank. Fred and George should have been locked up in their room inventing something dangerous. And Arthur is usually out in the shed, staying out of his harpy wife's screaming range.
I mean, its nice they're not all dead, but what's the chance they were NOT home. Truthfully? I would trade Ron's life for Luna in a nanosecond, and that's not being overly affectionate to her. I'd trade a tadpole for Ron... useless arsehole!

Your Harry is being a butt kissing pansy ass to Dumbledore's confession of all his wrongdoing. He should have at least broken his big, fat, pacifist, gay nose. A few painful curses wouldn't be out of order, either.

So not fair to call Sirius a convict, when he was thrown in jail without a trial. Stupid on occasion? Yes. Immature? Definitely!. Walking whore-bait? Without a doubt. But even 'ex con' is a little harsh.

I could have sworn I've read this, but I checked the reviews (of the original) and didn't find 'me'- there. Now I read the first chapter of the re-do, and I don't think I have. Hmmm.
