I usually avoid marriage law fics. They feel too close to rape, forced relationships with a good bit of life long trauma thrown in. Your story was read on a whim, and one I'm glad I had. A stunningly realistic portrayal. Did it make me uncomfortable? Yes, of course. Did I wish she spoke to Draco honestly before even considering Ron's proposal? Double yes. But things aren't as easy in real life. People have conflicted emotions. Choices aren't always clear cut and life isn't a bed of roses. I loved how you portrayed the conflicted emotions. It was true and it fit. It just fit.

To the Marge's of the world. Feminism is not about grandstanding. It's not only about leading a big revolution. It's also about freedom of choice. To discount this story means you discount the real effort some women make everyday in their lives little by little to earn more autonomy. To fight back in whatever little way they can in the world that _they_ live in. And that my dear Marge, would be truly awful..

Ha, absolutely love the ending of this story. Hermione is a complete bad ass, love that she didn't just go for the law but she completely changed a whole system! Brilliant story!

This was absolutely lovely. Thank you. I love a Hermione who loves Scorpius. And I love that she went for the jugular by running for minister! I don't actually like Hermione as minister, and this is the only story where I've cheered for that. I also loved that she didn't try to use the Malfoy wealth to get her way.
