I don’t leave a comment on here often, but this was absolutely beautiful. This is probably by far, one of my favourite Bethyl one shots. Pulled at my heart strings.

I want more!. Poor Beth, I felt both their loneliness. They are going to be so happy and she won't struggle like she has been.

What an incredible one shot! I love your Daryl and Beth in this story. After briefly meeting each other, they both knew that they wanted to get to know each other better. Daryl was almost certain that Beth was not a party girl but wanted to get to know her better so he took the chance by asking her out which she happily accepted. As their evening wore on, Daryl and Beth both knew they were falling hard for each other but was ignoring all the signs since they both thought it was going to a be a 2 day fling - so to speak. Daryl was definitely a gentleman when he walked away from Beth even though those actions broke not only her heart but his heart as well. I love Daryl in this story so much because he wasn't afraid to go after what he wanted and he wanted Beth. He drove like a bat out of hell back to Beth to ask her to join him for long haul for the rest of their lives. I love Beth in this story because she didn't give Daryl's question a second thought. She immediately went with her heart and said yes. These two knew they were meant to be together and they were adamant that they were going to make it happen. Incredible, incredible one shot! I truly enjoyed reading this on my lunch hour! :)

Oh, I SO needed a little happy this week and boy did this one deliver! I am a sucker for Truck driver Daryl! LOL..he called her Hun. Love how there was an instant attraction and their playful banter. As we got through the story and found out about Beth not having a car, not much money, renting a room...I kept thinking that she should just jump in that truck and go with him! ;) GAH...why does Daryl have to be such a gentleman! Kidding...that was very sweet and just goes to show what a good man he truly is. *sigh* My heart broke when he walked her home and told her to have a good life. :( They were both so sad. OMG the end! PERFECT! He just came and got her, so romantic! LOVED THIS! XO

Wow, only comaint is that was way to short. I love these Foos!. I have a weakness for this dirly trucker and Cherry Coke is my drink of choice, well diet cherry now. Lol. Laughed hard when he pondered why a pretty sober girl would pay him attention!. Hurt my heart when he walked her home, bit it was the right thing to do. I want more!. Ugg. Gracias Soniabell.
