| VamPyr00 chapter 9 . 10/10/2023 Welp, I don't have much to say about this one. Overall, I give it 3.8 stars. Writing quality is pretty good but everything else is fairly sub-par. It's a fairly enjoyable read if you are bored, but don't expect something amazing. Writing Quality: 5 Pacing: 4 Story Development: 3 Character Design: 3 World Background: 4 Pacing was a bit strange, as the MC seemed to just jump all around with no real objective. The story development was extremely random, so the pacing just seemed off in many places. Story Development was pretty bad. There seemed to be no real goal or planned sequence of events for this story at all. Once again, it was basically just the MC doing random things in no particular order. It was mostly just training, fighting in IDs, and following specific parts of the Canon for DxD and MHA. Character Design was also pretty bad in my opinion. The MC is extremely 'scatter brained', generally lazy, and comes off as too indifferent and indecisive. He can't focus on anything for long, is extremely anti-social (even ignoring any kind of romance), and really doesn't even seem to enjoy his badass powers or being in a fantasy world at all. Overall, the MC just has a childish, annoying, and frankly boring personality. World Background was okay but it was clear that the Author focused more on the System stuff rather than the fantasy world of DxD or MHA. The few times the MC was involved in the major plots, he didn't really change that much. |
