Hi, hello, oh my gosh!
I binge read this series over the last few days and oh my word!
I know the series is literally called Dragon Chronicles, but I didn't start reading for the dragons, but rather cause the summary on the first part sounded interesting. But my gosh, the dragons! This fandom is sorely lacking in dragon content of this quality. Will I ever find anything else that can even compete with this?

There are so many things I love that I don't really know how to go about articulating it.
- It's really neat seeing Harry first getting to Hogwarts and learned magic at 14. I don't think I've seen it in any other fic and it's really interesting to see how much stronger Harry holds onto muggle culture as a result.
- His wandless magic is also pretty cool, plus all the stuff with elemental magic! Harry literally just forgetting to use his wand in some of the later chapters. In part it almost feels like Harry was never really told what was possible or not, so he just goes for it and manages to pull off unlikely feats just with creativity and determination.
- I love Harry's artistic and woodworking skills. It's just really interesting and a lovely touch.
- Harry just doing whatever he pleased for the Triwizard tasks, knowing that he didn't have the skills necessary to compete properly. Love it!
- Harry and Ramaranth becoming buddies. And I love Harry's friendships and his relationship with Sirius.
- I love all the world building. Dragon culture, social structure, government. The differences in terminology and phrasing that the dragons use, it's lovely! I just love all the little details! The concept of a dragon speaker, who acts as an ambassador. All the details about the reserves and the dragon handlers themselves. - The whole mini-arc at the Australian reserve was delightful.
- I love all the dragons and how Harry interacts with them
- I think the scene where Harry runs off in the middle of the night in his pjs and takes out a bunch of poachers has got to be one of my favorites. It lives so vividly in my mind.
- Harry and Daphne are so sweet.
- Did I mention how lovely the characterization is in this? Cause it's amazing!
- Now that I'm thinking about it, there's actually a number of funny moments in this and lots of scenes that I absolutely love.

To list a handful of my fav scenes/quotes I highlighted:
- Obviously the scene with the poachers, as I already mentioned, it lives in my brain rent-free
- Harry walking out on Snape's potion lesson
- "Off with his dragons. Or is that the dragons are with their Harry?"
- The scene where Harry is led into the weyr council for the first time. I can picture it all so vividly.
- "Dragon justice?" Sirius asked. "Roasted to death by dragon flame and then eaten," Harry replied casually.
- "And if putting the fear of Merlin, or in this case Harry Potter into this lot managed to spread to the rest of the scum like them, then Alexander had no quibbles with bending the truth just a little."
- Grimblehawk being made the head dragon handler at the British reserve!

I would definitely love to see a sequel of this. Cause I absolutely have not gotten my fill of dragons yet (how could I when you've created such a vast and lovely world full of vibrant characters). Also, I'm curious what's going on with Voldemort... But mostly I just want more dragon content. I need to know about the hidden ones and the silent cousins (How can you tease me like this?) There are also still 3 whole reserves Harry's yet to visit.
But for real, no pressure for a sequel. Thank you so so much for sharing these two fics! I had such a fun time reading them. And if you do write a sequel I will 1000% be there for it.

i cant wait for the next book, ive been flying through all the stories

pretty sure i am adding my review to the voices that urge you to continue writing this series. it is quite unique, in that it is about harry and dragons, and also quite unique for a story of said genre to have gotten this far.

the only other story i have read about harry and a dragon is written as a single book. it can be found i The Dragon of Time by Canadian_Caesar. then again, it is just harry and his animagus form. so far, there have been no civil interactions with other dragons. he killed the horn tail in the triwiz.

if only it is not an inconvenience to you, because i don't want you to actually hate writing it, or see it as a great chore, please continue with the story.
