   Spanner96 chapter 6 . 8/27 Lost me here. You’ve made a big thing about Mason worrying over his impact on canon, but then you proceed to make changes that have nothing to do with what Mason has done. Gary is only slightly better than Ash by the Pokémon League, with Ash simply taking longer to reach that level of competence… your version of Gary is hyper competent where he’s not in canon, and it’s for no other reason than you wanting Mason to struggle. Mason worrying about influencing canon loses any and all dramatic value the second you start making forced changes to canon. |
