I loved Mr. Darcy’s convincing of Mr. Collins as to how to proceed with wife hunting in a way that did not include Elizabeth. Ah, getting Mr. . Collins to talk less was quite an achievement. Darcy speeded up his on engagement and Bingley’s and Jane’s. I wonder what Caroline thought of this. At least, Mr. Collins was steered to women likely to be more accepting of him. Incredible this was written so fast and very well. |
