Lovely! I liked how you integrated bits of Tolkien and Lewis there.
I also like reading this version of the Undragoned Eustace, who's just getting used to fully accepting that he's in a world where fairytales are real, and can't wrap his head around having seen a sea serpent. And then you have the opposite of that, Caspian and Drinian, because to them those kind of stories are real. Thanks for writing this. I'm glad someone finally wrote it!
Also, was that story at the end Snow White?

I like Lucy telling stories :)
The reactions were very good - Eustace learning to listen to stories, Reepicheep intently listening to a story of courage, Drinian's short statement of approval...it was all woven together very well.
I don't remember spinning wheels specifically in Narnia...but if Mrs. Beaver had a sewing machine, I don't see why they wouldn't have spinning wheels - you have to make thread before you can make fabric before you can sew...but that's my reasoning, not anything I remember specifically from the book...they could have just had drop spindles.
