Certainly one of the best fics I've ever read. At times I found myself thinking it was dragging a little, but in hindsight I think it worked for the best as it kept things moving at a believable pace. Outstanding work!

Ok, now that that's out of my system, I'll go back to my usual 'review-at-the-end-of-a-fic' policy.

About five years too late, but I have to say, what a fucking copout. I love this story until this point, but now? What a fucking copout. Cologne learns nothing. Ranma continues to let others make his decisions for him, even if this is more pleasant than the original series. Nabiki, for all of her talk of saying she'll talk about his mistakes, ran away before he even could explain the moment between him and Shampoo. It turned into some cliche bullshit where everyone walks away happy in the end and no one learned a god damned thing.

Why does the Anniversary Epilogue have to be the last one? It still has no Rematch. Technically there has to be one before Ranma can return to Nabiki. No matter how Akane's opinion changes the match still has to happen otherwise its a mark against Ranma's Honor as a Martial Artist. And well that is lacking from this or any of the other endings.

Yeah... Kinda still missing that Rematch between Ranma and Akane. Even with everything else it really should happen before Ranma tries to go back to Nabiki at all. You know unless he is deciding to give up his honor that played a strong role in the rest of the story.

Ranma stayed away a little bit long. And there was no Rematch. I'd have thought he'd be away a whole year or so going to various dojo with masters of styles he identified Akane using.

Even Genma and Soun resorted to the Saotome final attack when they knew they were outmatched. And groveling when they couldn't get away.

You do have other endings. But well this first one was not that satisfying. Just another dump of angst feed after too much BS earlier in the fic.

Plot hole. You made it rather clear that Kaoru didn't remember Ranma calling herself Ranko. And the reactions to the name Rachel have been done too many times for him thinking of her as Ranko to make sense without being told the name at least once again.

There was an earlier one related to this. But I read it during other distractions. Didn't you have a reaction by Nabiki about Kaoru in the first chapter where Ranma met him in Girl form? You know where the couch arm got ripped off? But when it came up again Nabiki didn't know about it?

So she put someone who changes sex into a single sex environment. Not just that but a Catholic one. That curse defies the laws of nature and for a time could have even gotten a death sentence. Don't forget about a little thing called the Crusades. Kinda wouldn't have had as much of them without the backing of the Vatican.

So this Nabiki isn't as smart as usual fannon Nabiki portrayals? I hope they can find some aging mushrooms to put Ranma and Nabiki at the same age. The miss match is interesting and all but I'm having trouble accepting Nabs as a Cougar.

This has got to be the most unique Ranma 1/2 story I have ever read. And it works wonderfully. Awesome.

Wow...I'm really at a loss for words here. I was really touched, to say the least. You really had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. This has been one hell of an emotional roller coaster for me. I think I actually feel like I matured more from reading through this...

I sincerely applaud your work. As much as I enjoy the occasional (or more than occasional) fluff or romance, you really brought a huge degree of realism into the world of our beloved Ranma cast, yet did so in such an beautiful manner as to not upset the expectations of a normal fanfiction reader. This wasn't just a fairy-tale story, it held real depth and real problems...it was certainly food for thought for me. I really appreciate that you didn't just slap on a happily-ever-after as most authors oft do. I'm not eloquent or articulate enough to express the way I'm feeling right now, so I'll just leave it at this:

Well, finally read the entire thing. Despite thinking that the entire expansive story could use someone to go over it and clean up the (rare but staggeringly consistent) spelling errors and faulty word uses, this is easily one of the best, and most novel Ranma 1/2 fics I've read to date.

I found the later chapters a little light on the humor (I certainly expected Kaoru, at least one of Ranma's 'friends', Jesse, and Nodoka to be milked for a *bit* more of this), and the last chapter/epilogue had me in a short-lived rage over the *hints* of how the one led into the other.

Akane as the 'final boss' was pretty thrilling, especially the outcome. An excellent showing for the youngest Tendo sister, given how little screen-time she got most of the story.

All the characters were fun to get to know, so it's a real shame about the ones that fell by the wayside as things progressed. Nodoka, especially. She was developing so much *promise* just before she withdrew.

Minuscule points of contention aside, this is just plain fantastic.

This was Amazing.

It was also Stunning.

And I really, really, really enjoyed reading it.

Wow, such a beautiful story. I loved the growth Ranma, Nabiki, Shampoo and the others went through, the relationship they had and even the pieces of angst. I'm a little disappointed it took Ranma five years to go back to Nabiki, but I guess it's okay... A real masterpiece if I might say so. The only problem was the spelling...

Man, 5 years is a long time. Hell I'd still be in high school 5 years ago..

Well, good show. It actually opened my eyes a bit, which is great since when I read a fanfic that enlightens me like this it really makes you feel awe inspired. While the moral of the story wasn't huge, getting something from reading a fic is something anyone could appreciate.

I've read many fanfics and this is definitely one of those uniquely special ones that you can be proud to have finished reading. And contributed to shaping my life just a bit better. Thank you for sharing this work.

Bah, Kaoru may be unrecoverable after he finds out that Ranma and Rachael are the same. -_- I mean Ukyou is unknowingly hurting Kaoru big time with all her little pushes.

I can't help but feel so sorry for Kaoru. Nothing is gonna turn out good for him in the end.
