| Volunteer Insomniac chapter 1 . 5/30/2023 aesthetic rings? that's basically saying that they're there solely to make the wand look better, I think the sentence would work better without it, or with some orlther descriptor like thin or strange or the like. are they bumps or voids on the wand? idk why I pointed this out, but it just left me confused I think you could have left more ron left rather than what happened e.g. he still talks like Ron and for the most part acts like Ron, but then is less impulsive etc. or you could have made tge merge happen smoothly via dreams or something, basically slowly feeding the memories into Ron over the course of a month or a few e.g. he slowly becomes less impulsive, adverse to learning etc and becomes more withdrawn (maybe add a personality crisis in there 'am I still me?' sort stuff) and once he's sorted himself out he starts to apply himself to his schooling. in my opinion this would make the transition much smoother and makes it so people don't start questioning his sudden change with seemingly no reason you would get with your approach, though my approach is much more difficult to implement. |
