|Reviews for The End of Eternity: Rise of the Terran Alliance|
| guest chapter 6 . 7/21
This is probably the most unlogical chapter ive ever read. Why would the parliament determine the usage of the fleet? They are not the executive power in a state. They are the legislative power. They make the laws and dont concern themselves with the troops. Next is the unreasonable decision to not assemble the fleet. They have to use the relay to make it to the system. Its a choke point. You always try to fight a defensive battle using those choke points. Thats why u assemble the fleet in the system. Next why do they use a frigate to send their envoy to the turians. Dont they have unarmed vessels? Something thats not needed in a battle and not a ship in fighting condition? This is plot wise similar to cheese. Full of holes.

Whoever this group is are complete and total FUCKING IDIOTS. The alliance clearly stated that they wanted to wait a few more centuries before there ready to make there move. Also why the hell is a minor colony allowed to activate a Relay without getting permission from the alliance command first. Also yaaay (Heavy Sarcasm) the whole Turian firing without warning or trying to communicate cliché.
| Silverserpent74 chapter 2 . 5/27
Good chapter except for the multiple spelling errors.

the way you presented saren was so very one dimensional, either he is truly delusional or it was simply poorly done. i found the reaction of ez equally lacking, bunch of empty words meaning little. the only thing that need to be said is: it does not matter what happened the previous generation, it matters what you learn from it. we cannot trust eachother just the judgement of actions, seeing how turians break all rules when convenient and happily butcher childeren, doctors and their patients before throwing them aside with less respect then you'd show an animal you killed for food it is pretty clear how you pp comport yourself.
likewise the whole spiel about showing themself sooner to the citadel gains no true response, like: and end up as a client state in your slaver galaxy while giving up all of our hard earned tech.
| stylo1 chapter 13 . 1/27
why would you admit you only have one uber dreadnought.
the truth of the morning war of the quarians aside and simply going by what is commonly known, they fucked up and the council dropped them like a stone condemming them to death even though the council itself never suffered at the hand of the geth.
as for the krogans, they uplifted a race that had nuked their home planet and breeds like rabbits with only one purpose: war. and when the war was over no doubt did the council try to screw the krogan and limit where they could live. is it any wonder a rabbit warrior acts like one?
the war against the rachni is the only one that could be justified as truly necceccary.
ofc you also ignored the drell who are being exploited by the hanar, saving only a few millions to work for them while letting the rest rot on their broken homeworld.
then there is the vorcha, an good example of a primitive sapient species that needs time to evolve. yet the council let them be used as cheap soldier by just about anyone.
why on earth would you give in and say they were right to do what they did with the krogan and quarians... hell you even threw the quarians under the bus when telling the council about you previous knowledge. but in a negotiation you never ever bring up a point only to right away admit you are wrong, which i really think you arent but you dont. it makes the alliance look like immature childeren judging the council and then admitting that they are right to assume that... who does that?
gotta give you probs on how you sold the idea of reapers to the council, that was actually very smart. though you did miss the main difference between human AI and the reapers/geth, human AI are programmed to develop selfawareness and choose their own path while the reapers where programmed to do a job and later became selfaware. if anything creating AI is saver then waiting till it develops on its own without meaning to. and it will happen, it is already happening to our society, smarter programs that can adapt but are used for a purpose instead of finding their own way.
if you look closely you notice a patern: the council tries something then want to control it obsessively which turns it against them and so they outlaw it saying it is dangerous. so yes i believe you are far to soft on them but if you werent then you shouldve never brought it up, 'like a petulent child whining' as i already explained.

rachni modded by adam slugs. now that is a terrifying idea
| stylo1 chapter 12 . 1/27
basicly by having the alliance wait so long with a response the turians havr managed to get their hand on both tech and corpses. i do not see how did was a good choice of even why they went for this
| stylo1 chapter 9 . 1/27
you are drawing this first contact out so much it gets somewhat boring. the hesitance of the alliance to counter attack and all of their dialogue has been, well weak, scared bunch a pussies
| stylo1 chapter 8 . 1/27
harbringer is the 'leader' of the reapers but the only current reaper in the galaxy is nazara the vanguard.
| stylo1 chapter 8 . 1/27
methane is a combustion fuel which is viable for cars not space, helium 3 fusion on the other hand is.
plasma bombs aint half as effective as antimatter bombs.
a singularity is a blackhole which in halo is considered the most advanced power source but only used on huge structures because of the difficulty to contain. there is however no antimatter invovled.
you are throwing these names and terms around randomly without any logic. it gets very confusing not to mention a little embarrasing
