The whole hostility to remote controlled drone warfare is honestly dumb, and no "highly intelligent" soldier would ever discount the effectiveness of such weapons.. Missiles with targeting systems are also drones after all. And it's the same thing that was repeated when guns replaced swords. Probably also when swords replaced rocks and limbs.. and when people started wearing armor. If you want honor, go do some pankration or something.

This story reeks of reddit at times. The understanding of history is a prime example.

Honestly, I think that when an AI accesses the concepts of metaphysics or similar in the sense of thought, it is already a living being. The truth is that the Quarians only had slaves, slaves who were learning to live and when they were ordered to be murdered, they defended themselves.

There's also the thing that not all Quarians during the Morning War would have seen the Geth as enemies.

Was an enjoyable story until this chapter

Is it just me, or am I the only sick of Earth being drawn into wars because of Black Ops stupidity? Like seriously, can we come up with a new idea?

Ugh, got cut off on my last comment. As i was saying, they had a colony devestated. its a good story and i am enjoying it. i loved the mass effect games, but i always hated how the council were so condesending. I also love Bioshock and i wasnt sure how this would work, but its definently a good story idea and it works. Seen it recommended before but never read it because there are some xovers that i dont think would work, but this one does. Keep up the good work. Would like to see more of it.

Personally,, i like the idea of an OP human story. its my guilty pleasure to read, but i am enjoying this story, because yes, humans are powerful, but they still lose people, ships and even had a xolony

Hope the hiatus ends soon and hopefully we’ll see a proper Bioshock esc location soon, something akin to Rapture (not the ship) and Columbia. Space station doesn’t count cause well… that’s generic sci-fi so it has to be somewhere that’s not normally seen in a sci-fi setting with a steampunk aesthetic as a big part of Bioshocks appeal is it’s unique aesthetic and design and not just it’d philosophy, characters, or powers.
