Not really. If you didn't want a population growing faster than you could support it, you'll limit it's growth as best you could.

That's especially true on these colony worlds where you don't to overstress the resources available to you.

The lack of spinal cannon on the carrier does not make sense. On modern carriers the lack of offensive weapons is largely due to weapon range limitations and a need for a clear deck for aircraft. In space range is effectively infinite and you do not need a clear deck for launching and recovering craft."

Ummm...Why in hell would you stick a spinal cannon on a carrier when it wasn't designed for it?

it's almost as stupid as thinking that the BSG FTL drive actually makes an effective weapon system -that one could actually hit anything on purpose using it that wasn't the size of a small moon.

I read a few of the reviews before starting this latest chapter, and am somewhat confused. While a majority were positive, a number were downright nasty. I do not understand that! I have been reading stories on this site for going on three years now, and when I find one I do not like I simply move on. There are thousands of stories here, why would you waste time complaining about one you did not like? It seem some people are not happy unless they are belittling someone else. I, like most I believe, find some story more enjoyable that others and when I do I like to let the author know. Well enough rambling for this time. Please keep up the good writing and I will be happy to continue reading."

It's really quite simple to understand actually. There's a cabal of Total Losers here and can be found on forums such as Spacebattles and other places who tend to think of themselves as God's Gift To Humanity.

They think their Stated Opinions are the final say on anything and everything and are not to be questioned *EVER* (Sort of like an Orange-Skinned Mutant that's been seen in DC)

We know how wrong they are, thus they way they freak out when confronted.

I love this story, can't wait for the next update
