Please do not use that origin on reapers. I love your story but that origin is simply horrible, hopefully it is only an interpretation of humans and not the real one because it is terrible

I really enjoyed both chapters!

Totally agreed with you on the Krogans and I'm never been a fan of the idea of the genophage being completely removed. There's definitely the issue of the Krogan species reproducing too fast in comparison with other races that justifies some kind of modification to that part of their biology, but what I would generally prefer that I've only seen one or two fics actually touch on, is a version of the genophage that removes, entirely, the stillborn attribute to occur and to simply make them have a reduced fertility(I would have preferred this to the either or situation in the game, but I understand it was a limited time type thing). Doing something like this could even be a way of bringing in some of the Krogan's disposition for diplomacy, as little as there may be of it.

I'm happy you aren't just diving in and getting the Krogans right then and there. Even if it starts approaching that, I think it would be a smart story idea for there to be a lot of tension with the Rachni being in the position they're in.

From this point on, I do hope that both sides can be reasonable here. I'm happy that you decided on restraining the actions of the humans and honestly it's something I wish was more popular in other fics. Neither side should *want* war and should strive to prevent it when possible, even though it's always good to be prepared for it. I also think it would be interesting if there were elements of the Council that would see the benefits of a friendly human and rachni civilization and their peacekeeping potential. It could also be another way of creating some more political tension especially with some of the associate races that often get overlooked.

The only real criticism I had was the actual speech and war declaration with the human president, I thought could've been better. It felt in a way like he was bragging to all the Council species watching(we don't use ME tech, we're so much more superior, we don't rely on eezo, etc.) and I just wasn't a fan. Many other fics do this and it often comes off as very cringeworthy to me. I really wish I could put this into words better than I have. It's the parts that come off as humans boasting to/against the Council could be removed/changed and I think it would come off as more professional and realistic.

Apart from that though, I really enjoyed the chapters overall and I hope to see some solid diplomacy from both sides. I'm a massive HFY fan and I absolutely consider this story HFY, but that also doesn't mean I want the Council to be foolish and I hope to see them act in a way that befits their position. You don't become the leaders of the known galactic society for being foolish warmongers. I'm kind of rambling at this point though.

Anyways, thank you for updating, I'm looking forward to more :)

When you're good at what you do, (and you "Icarus636" are very good at what you are doing) it is very easy and entertaining to read. This story just flows so much like a lazy river and I'm enjoying it so completely that I don't even care where it's going, I'm just loving the ride. The best part of reading a story like this is the "Oh WOW I would never have thought of doing it like that!", and the "I can't wait to see what happens next!" part.

Great updates. Well, at this point, do the Citadel races go all in for war or accept any kind of peace agreement that keeps Terran's and their allies out of this space as much as possible while they freak out and start bankrupting themselves trying to build up and improve their military in a war that they don't want to fight.

Ahhh. That was a very satisfying chapter. Always enjoy a good scaring of council ambassadors. Hope the quarians are invited to join. I very much doubt the council won’t blame them for everything
