![]() ![]() I can't wait for more love this story so much |

![]() ![]() ![]() Oh snap, things are heating up! |
![]() ![]() I agree with Alleras, House Tyrell wants to play both sides and still come out without suffering any consequences. Loras has basically been completely broken and is unable to make any decisions at all but Margaery was perfectly willing to marry the fake Aegon and only changed her mind once she’d been married for a little while and had heard about Jon and his dragons. Margaery is as guilty as her father and doesn’t deserve to be saved. She should be made to join the Faith. Please don’t let Jon lose either of those dragons. |
![]() ![]() ![]() And for that matter, there's no condemnation of the fact that Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen are either products of sister-brother incest or bastards. It is declared that they are not related to Robert Baratheon and cannot inherit anything after his death, it is simple succession with Stannis and Renly dead, no legitimate children from his marriage to Cersei and the rest of his children being bastards the throne passes to his other relatives. To the descendants of the Firstborn of the Previous King Aerys II, Rhaegar and his progeny. With Rhaenys dead, Aegon impersonated by someone with no ties to House Targaryen, and Rhaegar himself dead, the inheritance passes to his surviving son, Jon. A child of the deceased inherits before a sibling according to Westeros law. |
![]() ![]() ![]() DragonSoul28, I remind you than Westeros is a medieval civilization that emulates Europe to a great extent. It is not uncommon to find nobles marrying their relatives, it is condemned to marry one of descent or too close like an uncle-niece relationship but at the end of the day there are loopholes that everyone knows about. Our contemporary moral standards are not compatible with the medieval mentality. Rickard and Lyarra Stark (the parents of Ned) were cousins, Tywin Lannister himself married his cousin and from there came his 3 children. And Jon is not condemned because when children are fostered it's something done with the intention of forming alliances (most of the time marriage), it was unexpected in this case but is seen as a good thing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Easier? Absolutely! Better? Debatable. Politically sound? Absolutely not. It sends a complicated narrativ to the small folk that it's okay for house Stark to practise incest, while slandering house Lannister for doing the same. And yes, while it's not "quite" the same, for all intents an purposes, it is. No one's gonna go "Oh yeah, while they were raised as brother and sister for all their life, and only found out that they are not about 1 month ago, it's fine cause they are only first cousins, not REALLY brother and sister." It 100% would cause strife in the north, remove 2 potential political alliances, send mixed messeges, all for a happy Jon and Sansa. Logically, 100% the wrong move. But i can see where the story is going, so everything is probably gonna go smoothly somehow. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Jorah has had his head in the ground for a long time, it will be fun to see how wrong he can be. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty freat vhaoter |
![]() ![]() ![]() Honestly I hope that Catelyn either doesn't get found by Beric and resurrected as Lady Stoneheart or that she gets fully revived as a human rather than an undead horror. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Jon you came to save Sam, people won't forget that you came to save them; when you didn't have to. That's the kind of king everyone wants, Randyll to see Jon Targaryen; It will be like looking back in time and seeing Prince Rhaegar. Your allegiance is to the Targaryen house, discovering that Sam is Jon Targaryen's best friend; It will make you proud of your son. Being Barristan when whispers of Jon Targaryen's existence reach you, you will understand that your oath is with him; who is the rightful king and who is the son of prince Rhaegar. |
