I just caught up with quite a lot of chapters, still enjoying the story and like to read in bigger chunks. Commenting on memory: in some ways I don’t think people would notice missing memories if it was done with decent care for example not snipping an odd chunk so it feels like you were just eating breakfast in pajamas and are now standing with the boss at work. The transition would be really important, putting in a “real” memory rather than confundus and saying “you spent some time filing this afternoon and the boss wanted to see everyone” boom, who notices that they don’t really recall the details of filing. I kept being uneasy about the cruise ship chapters some because Harry wasn’t getting sleep and some because it’s hard to judge what the staff would notice. I just heard about an effect that I can’t quite remember the name of - unfinished job effect? It’s how a waitress remembers your order when it hasn’t been delivered yet but once you have it and are happy it slips away. When I first went on a cruise in the 1980s your cabin stewards and wait staff were tipped at the end of the trip and they were hugely solicitous, obviously had a financial incentive to keep you feeling good. There were assigned tables in the main dining room where this applied, if you always ate at buffets the waiter/busboy were out of luck. Nowadays it doesn’t work that way but it is hard to tell what would cause an employee to pay attention to you. The fact that medical issues are a huge problem for cruise ships might have had them noticing “very skinny Harry” a lot more than he would guess, for example.

I am enjoying the story and concept so far though I find myself skimming through the letters and/or emails looking for when the plot will move on.

Happy Australia day to you to. I do not know why cares about Ron or Hermione because they not good friends to him so he better off without them. He should be thinking about dean and Seamus also Neville because they been good friends to him. I think that Spencer should be at train station to pick him up. I feel bad for Sirius who did not get chance meet his godson unless you let meet later so they could be a family. Waiting for next chapter was hard because I love story so much. Hope read more soon because read about about Spencer and harry meeting again. Think you for chapter.

Harry is almost there! I love it! I want them be together again. I want Sirius to be free and join Harry in America for better future but up to you make it happen. Please do not make us wait to long for next chapter for this story to amazing for words to not have you update it soon. Freedom for Harry is best and I want Dumbledore to pay for crimes because he needs to get what is coming to him. Wishing you best luck on all future chapters. Think you!

For the longest time, I passed this story by. But then bit the bullet and started reading. I soon got in grossed in the story. I think in the next chapter, you need to show something about Dumbledore and Padfoot. DUMBAZZ freaking the hell out as Potter is crossing west over the sea. And Padfoot trying to find out where Harry's going.
Don't keep us hanging too long! Need some more CHAPTERS... CHOP-CHOP get working on them, no writers block! You don't have our permission for it. UNDERSTAND BUB?

Harry getting to sleep as much as he needs to on the train and everyone leaving him alone on trip to get where his friend lives. I hope he get see magical doctor on problems that his last magical doctor said best get fix soon as he get helped by someone he can trust. I think Spencer should pick up once gets off the train. Still loving this story and more chapters soon as you can do them please.
