I just love Ginny

Ginny would be 5 not 3 if Percy is 10 years old. Man did I love seeing the Dursleys drop one by one ! Will there be another chapter after that ? I’d love it if you continued !

I thought little Ginny's toddler speak was spot on! Can't wait to see more ways she helps Harry, though what she did this time around made a tremendous difference to his well being at the Dursleys, I'm sure...unless they lock him up with no food?

Absolutely fascinating start. What a cool twist. She is definitely precocious in so many ways. Probably the best day of Harry’s recent life.

A few notes:

1. There is roughly a 2 year age gap between Percy and the twins and another 2 year age gap between the twins and Ron. This is evidenced in the first book when Percy is identified as a newly minted prefect (putting him in year 5 when Harry and Ron were in year 1). The twins were in their sixth year in the fourth book (when Ron and Harry were to start year 4) placing them in their 5th year when Percy was in year 7 (as head boy in the 3rd book). They were in their seventh and final year in book 5 (when Harry and Ron were in year 5).
Therefore, if Percy was 10, then the twins would be 8, and Ron would be 6, making Ginny 5 as there is one year difference between the two youngest siblings.
However, if Ginny is 3, then Ron would be 4, the twins would be 6, thus making Percy 8 years old and not 10.

2. This bit isn't really all that relevant to this story, but did you know that in the books, the closest Harry got to cooking was watching the bacon once in the first book? He never actually cooked any of the meals in Privet Drive! In fact, it was Petunia who was mentioned cooking ... she even made a "masterpiece" of a dessert in the second book.

Epeefencer, you never fail to deliver. I've read your fics for years and i still click the link as soon as I get an email saying you've uploaded.
This one has an interesting premise. I wonder why Ginny knows Harry better than he knows her? Whatever the reason, that's a set up that I like. Its not one that we get to see often. I typically don't like stories where Ginny is more POWERFUL than Harry, but I do like it when she has something else going for her; knowledge, determination; just something in her arsenal that Harry lacks. It makes for a much more interesting read and it helps to balance them out as a couple. I can't wait to see where you take it.
