| Random chapter 2 . 9/30/2019 So I gave this a chance, and I will admit it had my interest. Naruto and Sakura's interaction feel natural. There was no exaggerated behavior that ruins most shonen stories by making them tropes and character archetypes personified or parody characters; Naruto has boundaries that he won't let a pretty face violate, but he's more than willing to help to repay a kind deed. However, three elements from the exposition leave me wary of this story. Sasuke, Itachi and murdered family. I can hear CJ from San Andreas saying "Ah shit, here we go again." It's too early to really judge this story, but if Naruto's plotline and character arc becomes intertwined with Sasuke's to the point they are thematically dependent on each other, I will bow out, wish you luck and anticipate Marvel's Maelstrom future updates. |
