It’s a tough day for me today but I wanted to strangle Dumbles with my bare hands. Congrats on succeeding.

But Harry refusal to talk to anyone is intolerable. Sirius needs to grow a pair and get him some treatment. Part of why Harry is so manipulated is he is only 14 years old. In canon, he had no one. Then when he graduated, accumulated PTSD sent him to the wrong life.

JKR created a great series but then crapped all over her characters.

Part of what makes your stories so good is the realism. In canon, Harry stumbled because everyone withheld information from him. Here he seemingly knows too much and was raised by the repressed Blacks.

You skillfully create backstories for everyone. I hope you pursued writing as some part of your career

You are brave to let your characters act as they wish. This only works when you grant each dignity and nuance. Great job.
