Series has been great so far, and definitely continuing to turn the pages. Just wanted to leave a quick comment here on the characterisation of Lucius - it was surprising to me that a character distinguished by his poise and cunning should be introduced to us as plainly unhinged and ill-considered in his evaluation of the situation.

This is 2022...I just started reading your books, but sounds to me like, when you were writing, you let too many negative reviews get to you. If you don't make the heart speed up, make you crave the next thing, piss you off, bring a tear to your eye, make you smile...or ANY emotion, you ain't doin your job. Seems a negative review made you make the bad review people feel SOMETHING! So...good job. I certainly am annoyed that this ain't paper pages where I could skip ahead! HAHAHOHOHEEHEE.

I loved the first book and I was excited to read more, but the second book is a lot less enjoyable. While it's completely realistic for teenagers to be angsty and do stupid things in relationships, it's not fun to read when they get bogged down in it. Claire is a great new character, but Krum is a boring caricature, and Moody is an abusive jerk. Seriously, the purpose of the drill sergeant routine is to crush individuality and make new soldiers obey orders immediately. Is that remotely helpful to Harry, who's supposed to be the leader of the New Order? Moody insisting on calling Harry "boy" invites comparisons to the Dursleys. And attacking Harry's self-esteem in this manner to make him more obedient reeks of manipulative Dumbledores. Still, it's a very good story with lots of good aspects (Michael and Astoria are my favorites), just not my cup of tea.

Your need to fix a lot of grammar mistakes. It’s often small but extremely irritating. Usually as, or, an are all and. Not enough to stop reading but enough to be miffed everyone I see it.

This second book was so well written and very engaging. The part of Draco being a werewolf doesn't make sense. He would have been infected as an infant. And wouldn't he be getting sick at school and missing classes like Remus does? So many great plot points, but this one doesn't make sense to me. Besides that the story was great and an interesting twist on the tournament! I like the addition of Claire and how honorable and true Cedric is. He is truly good VS good natured and almost childlike in personality. After all the drama between Boot and Susan, it sort of got dropped completely after Christmas. Like Michael gets a girlfriend and Susan disappeared. More awkward teen moments would have been entertaining!
