Hi. You speak as if they are mutually exclusive options. Why not a) post a new version and amend the summary in the old to say "It's been replaced with...", then b) also post it in whatever other places you want, such as AO3. I certainly would not advise creating a new FF account - you risk losing contact with any fan base you've accumulated.

Its probably best for you to just create a new story for the new books on your current acc, allowing you to update the stories one chapter at a time while leaving the originals for people to read if they so desire.

Definitely switch to AO3!

I think creating a new FF would be the best. I’m still hazy on how to work AO3 and I still like FF for this reason

I've become a much bigger fan of AO3 over the years, not near as many rules/restrictions and also a little easier to navigate along with the fact that, if you as an author are about it, you can be a lot more involved with your audience with being able to reply to comments more widely. That's my opinion, but otherwise it's exciting to see this getting a touch up!

I vote for posting it here on ff under your current account but title it definitive edition. I personally find ao3 much harder to use compared with the FF app.

It is not a problem if you want to upload it in this account. Just change a bit or add something like the new version, revive, or something you prefer at the end of the main title than you post it on a new account.

Why not just post it on its own that way both versions would be available to read? I've read plenty of stories that have done that, A Cadmean Victory did it that way.

I am just thinking now that if daphne had reached harry instead of tonks to save Harry the runes between them would have kicked in, possibly knocking voldmort"s soul piece out... whereas tonks reinforced love versus love and power daphne would have given.. At this point of the story I am predicting victory will involve Harry and daphne linked hand in hand.
