Apparently those concerned that Claire is around to create love triangle problems for Harry and Daphne weren’t paying attention to your comments about deciding not to have Susan come around on Michael but instead bringing in a OC as his love interest.
The “bunk mate” comment cracked me up but Michael was playing with fire on that one.

Michael embarrassing Harry about how he found him and Daphne that morning was so good.

One of the downsides of your A/Ns is a spoiler factor. There was no way Astoria was getting hurt by that DE. You’ve admitted that she is your favorite character in this story to write. It seems likely that she is pretty safe in most tense situations. I ultimately consider this a good thing since I don’t want anything to happen to her either. Excellent chapter.

You know what I think you did most impressively? You made Kreacher and Cedric more than bystanding characters as they had been in the movies and books. You made a real and legitimate connection and relationship between them and Harry, and that's perhaps why their deaths hurt much more reading this than reading the actual series. Not dissing the original, just a notice that I think you played this death scene much better.

Glad Harry and Daphne parted for the summer on happier terms. Hate it when authors make the characters suffer and then drag it out for ages. You seem to maintain a good balance.

Hoping Harry's training helps him grow to be a better and stronger person. Also hoping for a bit more Harry and Astoria interactions for book 3. That seemed to drop off in book 2.
