Reviews for The Propriety Failure |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well, that went well but I am sure that in the future something is going to arise from this incident. I do have to admire the older lady's ingenuity - quick thinking and taking many factors into consideration. Thanks for this chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, that was a dramatic start. Good advice on "the older one's" part. Hope the younger one can keep her mouth shut or will she wallow in guilt until she confesses all to her brother? Let's see. But there is the matter of the injury to one's leg and the tear on her dress. How does she explain that? Thanks for this chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like that Darcy and Mr B are starting off on good footing, but disappointed that the liveliness of Elizabeth has been diminished by her experience rescuing forward to more pieces of the puzzle coming together. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi Wade, I see that you completed this one, so I've come out from behind the couch to read it in its entirety! Geez Elizabeth's method of hiding her injuries with more injuries was scary! Glad the men who rescued her and took her back to her family were moral and kind! Happy Thanksgiving! |
![]() ![]() That was wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. |
![]() ![]() I loved this so much! Thank you! I particularly loved the Liza-Lina friendship. It's the first time I've seen anyone write such a genuine positive relationship between them and it was beautiful. Just, everything was lovely |
![]() ![]() "Naturally, the very first thing she encountered was a ruffian." Let's just take a moment to enjoy that line. Oh so good. I'm enjoying this story immensely! Thank you for sharing. |
![]() ![]() What at terrific story! I shed many tears. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow |
![]() ![]() Sorry, but the math just doesn't add up. Darcy's father could not have died 5 years after his mother did. Previously, Darcy revealed that he was 12 years old when his mom died. If this chapter is correct, he would be 17 when his dad died, hardly an age when he could legally inherit and run Pemberley. If he was 22 when Master of Pemberley, as suggested elsewhere, his father died ten years after his mother's death, and Georgiana was about ten in age. |
![]() ![]() Reticence, not reticent is required in the sentence (noun, not the adjective.) Otherwise, this is an exceptional story. Thank you for posting. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful story, very well told, with a sensible topic, very romantic , but reasonable and insightful, entertaining...and more. This are just some of the thoughts, that comes to my mind. Loved it! Thank you for sharing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This story is amazing. I love it! Reading it in the chapters that became available, I couldn't wait for the next one or group of chapters to come. It was always hovering in the background of my mind. I find it nearly incredible that more and more JAFF writers come up with such unique plots. I've seen stories where Caroline B. is redeemed, or else changed by a long slow process of exile, and eventually 'waking up.' But this was absolutely unique, and I liked it! The main plot of rescue and killing out of necessity is, for me, a completely new one. It was shocking. I felt every traumatic fear Lizzy had about being found out. I loved that she and Mary became much closer. I wish Mary had been included in the epilogue. This was so beautifully well written. Now I'm eager to read even more of your stories. This isn't my first one, and it won't be my last. Thanks for such great stories. |
![]() ![]() Thank you for this brilliant story. It was much more exciting and original than most PP stories I have read. I liked particularly that your characters were much more rounded and realistic than I have encountered so far in other stories. I must admit i cringe when i read stories full of EB sounding off self righteously to poor love-sick Darcy; I was beginning to dislike EB but your wonderful story and your Elizabeth have rekindled my interest. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really did enjoy it, so I thank you for sharing it. It is one of the most imaginative and original stories I have read. Congratulations on a job wonderfully done! |
