Tearful chapter but grateful Elizabeth was able to educate her sisters.

The chapter could have been titled Illumination of Lina. I’ve read scores of P&P FF and this new way of seeing Caroline thanks to our heroine is so refreshing.
This chapter has me perplexed too. How will D&E end up with their HEA? Maybe they won’t. Great story.

What in the world is happening here? I’m thinking it a bit unrealistic that no one heard blood curdling screams and no one saw any of this.

I always enjoy your story, and this one was particularly fun to read. I am glad you put the warning about intentional anachronisms up front, however, since your story about army nurses is at least 50 years ahead of its time.
