Hank1967 chapter 12 . 9/6/2020 Excellent story! Really enjoyed seeing how you integrated Harry into the Jurassic Park world. Nothing like a boy with his pet Veloceraptors... That was a cool idea, too. Enjoyed the dynamic between Harry and John Hammond. That was cool! Also enjoyed seeing how you developed Lex further, overcoming her fears and capturing Harry's heart. Loved the soldiers who were Harry's guard. Excellent bunch of characters they were. Whatever happend to Dumbledore and Snape by the way? Are they still in jail? Just wondering... Great job! |
blasrt85 chapter 12 . 8/31/2020 I picked this up and the only time I put this story down, is when I went to sleep. Thanks for sharing it was good. |
Guest chapter 1 . 8/23/2020 Vvvvvvvvvvvvv |
deitarionSSokolow chapter 4 . 8/25/2020 "It has a maximum number it could reach unless you reassigned the rows. Computers have a limited amount of memory or storage. They can't count high enough." Not really a good explanation. Y2K is better explained as: In the beginning, memory was really scarce, so they stored years as two-digit dates... and, for various reasons, programmers tend to continue doing what was done before. (eg. It's easier to just copy dates around verbatim than to convert them between two different formats) As 2000 approached, a lot of software designed to that two-digit-year spec was still in use... and Y2K20 was a big worry recently because a lot of the last-minute Y2K fixes had just involved adding a 20-year offset to so "99" represented 2019 rather than 1999, so that needed to be fixed properly. |
scyfly chapter 11 . 8/24/2020 many magical creatures are human made, basilisks most prominent, this is done without cloning. as for proving a human is a clone that is easy gene degredation, a clone will have faulty genes no matter how small. |
scyfly chapter 10 . 8/24/2020 what do you think the effect of a goblin forged bolt in a crossbow would do to a dragon let alone a dinosaur? kill them thats what, combine this with the small caves and the big ass beasts and im suddenly wondering how harry hermione and ron ever made it out of gringotts in the books |
scyfly chapter 10 . 8/24/2020 it is weird how you classify 'dinosaur' as a language which spans all different kinds. it would be like 'animal' being a language just that 'dinosaur' is an ancient dialect... |
scyfly chapter 9 . 8/24/2020 if you think the magical world being exposed like this is a good thing you really have no idea how the real world works. at first all would be fine apart form a lot of deaths, then the big nations in the world would fear the others start using it for war so they need to do it aswell this is off excluding the fact that all these nations are doing the exact same thing themself. then the goverments would learn about magical binding contracts and suddenly if you want to learn magic you have to sign one that will swear fealty to a nation. corporations who would kidnap dinos would suddenly kidnap magicals and disect them to find out how magic works. muggleborn oppertunist will sell their abilities to corporations, such as portkeys and space expansion charms. within a few years this would totally colapse the economy the only way this would not happen is if UN would make strict rules to limit such interverence and make using magic in war the same as first strike with nukes. i have no doubt missed hunderds of smaller issues because it is that big if a problem bur you get the point |
scyfly chapter 8 . 8/24/2020 wow you really have a weird ass view on history and humans if you think ppl need any real reason to hunt down magicals. think how a king would feel if one of his subjects get born with magic and at age 17 suddenly has more power and higher living standard then the king will ever have. guns gave the induviual commoner power, enough that you dont need an army to depose a king. this lead to several uprisings and in the end more equal rights. guns is the equvilant of magic. it is also the reason the magical world is so behind the times because they never had the sudden appearance of a 'gun' thus royalty (purebloods) could keep their power through accumulated knowledge that the muggleborn dont have. that combined wiyht he fact that most commoners couldnt read until 1920 so something ofc muggleborn would be considered less. then there is the church, thou shall not suffer a witch to live. wizards went in hiding during what we call the dark ages and it only became permanent when this was over but guns became common. ergo muggles were never a threat but were avoided till they did became one so official seclusion was the best option. now none of this is explained in canon of harry potter but the time line does matches this quite well. the only point you could make is that if wizards had spend more time selling enchanted stuff they would made themself indispensible and thus never feared. think of toilets that vanish waste or boxes with preservation charms. but how many wizards are there to make this viable? though if they just did this for the nobles it wouldve been enough. but why use my power to work to help you instead of enjoying it myself... you need a big reality check here mate |
scyfly chapter 8 . 8/24/2020 some of the things just lack so much subtlety. how does harry know to ask about how childeren are made while taking about condoms if he doesnt assosiate sex with babies. there are many other examples but this one was glaringly obvious |
scyfly chapter 1 . 8/24/2020 there are so so many ways magic could deal with this, ofc how much harry knows is debateble but still |
Bikerguy91 chapter 12 . 8/22/2020 Very entertaining story |
Adanor79 chapter 12 . 8/16/2020 What happened to Voldemort? |
Guest chapter 12 . 8/9/2020 All in all, I enjoyed this story. My favorite part was probably the take-down of the Statute of Secrecy and both dinosaurs and magical people/creatures being out in the open. I don’t think J.K. Rowling’s epilogue makes sense at all because it takes place in 2017...if the magical world had continued on the way they were going, there’s no way the non-magicals wouldn’t have caught on way before that. I mean, just the fact that CCTV is everywhere would make it happen, but at a certain point, a muggle with a witch or wizard for a sibling or child would be important enough in society that THEY would speak to other important people and “out” the magical world. |
Guest chapter 8 . 8/9/2020 Okay...so Harry calling Hermione a “stupid moron” is strange...especially when st this point in canon, he himself has been an oblivious, “stupid moron” many, many times, I still disagree with your portrayal of Hermione but from what other reviewers have said, you tend to do this in other stories you’ve written so I guess I’ll just move past it because I’m otherwise enjoying the story, but whatever... As for Sirius...I kinda disagree with your portrayal of him too, but not the the same extent as Hermione. I do agree that a pureblood like Sirius raises the way he was raised likely would not see the problem or the implications of human rights violations with wizards regularly erasing parts of non-magicals’ memories. It likely wouldn’t occur to him that it’s wrong because to him, it’s just the way it is. However, I do disagree with your portrayal of him in regards to Harry. Harry is literally the only important thing to Sirius right now. Unhealthily, I’ll give you that, because we see in book 5 that he has trouble separating Harry from James, but the fact remains that Harry is his biggest focus. He would be much more concerned with Harry’s well-being than helping the magical government that stripped him of his rights illegally and sent him to prison for over a decade. Besides, Sirius has no respect for authority. He’d want to be near Harry to keep him safe and he’d probably think it hilarious that Harry became an “Animagus” accidentally. As for Harry and Lex, I like the idea of them together and I e thought they had chemistry in all the chapters leading up to this one, but I don’t like the way you wrote them actually getting together. I mean, for Lex to go from stuttering and nervous even asking Harry to be her boyfriend to her all of the sudden straddling him and being overtly sexual just rang false...it was awkwardly written. Not awkward in that two teens are awkward together, but you the writer have written it awkwardly and stilted. I think maybe that was just an accident, because you’ve written them well in all their scenes together thus far. Anyway, the adults giving them the birds and bees talk was funny and yet another instance of Harry actually having adults caring for him. |
