![]() ![]() You’ve gotta love Oberyn! And I agree with him...Ned can be as honorable as he likes and Jon has his own morals, but at the end of the day, someone needs to be willing to do the dirty work. As for Olenna, she’s never been a favorite of mine (in my opinion, most of the Tyrell’s problems actually came from her failed maneuvers, not Mace’s idiocy)...and I dislike the way she put down Ellaria to Oberyn...so I kind of hope now that when Jon is King, he legitimizes Ellaria and all of hers and Oberyn’s children. I know Ellaria doesn’t really care, but I’m offended on her behalf. And anyway, she’s a highborn bastard, daughter of an Uller I think? So it’s not like she doesn’t have the same highborn blood that Olenna has. |

![]() ![]() *friend, not fiend! Sorry! Although I guess “fiend” could still apply! |
![]() ![]() I really like Benjen’s character! Hope he remains vosible in this story...as for Olenna, I know most fans seem to love her, but I’ve never been able to warm to her. Don’t get me wrong, I think she’s funny and everyone needs an Olenna-type fiend in their lives, but her actions are where I take issue with her. She’s portrayed as this political mastermind, but we see in canon that every single one of her moves has placed House Tyrell in a worse position. And it’s not like the consequences for those actions were hard to foresee. So anyway, really hoping Jon doesn’t allow Olenna to back him into a corner. As for Doran, does he really think the Northern dragonrider is Viserys with dyed brown hair? |

![]() ![]() If Domeric is allowed to keep his lands and titles, I think he should be forced to cast aside the name of Bolton forever and take on a new name, like Rhyswell, Bethany, or Bethson. The Bolton name should have to end. He should also have to change his sigil and house words, as well as the name of the Dreadfort. In fact, maybe once the Long Night is over, he should have to swear that he will dismantle the Dreadfort and use the stones to build a new castle. It wasn’t unusual for castles and keeps to be dismantled in medieval England and even Europe and for the stones to be used to make new buildings. Just the fact that Domeric is able to keep his title and lands should be enough, and Robb shouldn’t have to ever see the Dreadfort again, so it should be remade once things in the North are settled. Domeric should also be forced to wed a lady of Lord Stark’s choosing; someone loyal and maybe even a few years older than him so that she can have power too and ensure that Domeric is loyal to the Starks. |
