Reviews for The Conspiracy of Ice and Fire |

![]() ![]() ![]() Not sure why they would trust Ser Barristan, he already swore an oath to Robert so why take the risk with someone who has divided loyalty’s. That’s just asking for the secret to come out |
![]() ![]() ![]() I fucking knew the shit would happen |
![]() ![]() ![]() I don’t like him forgiving Jaime for someone that values family, he forgives too easily he tried to murder his cousin a small child. There’s is no excuse. |
![]() ![]() ![]() from what I've seen so far, this story is way better than the amount of follows/favorites would indicate. I'm looking forward to the rest of this. thanks for the read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() About your note at the beginning of the chapter, what happened to Garlan Tyrell? Loras' personal sigil specifically has three roses to mark his status as a third son of House Tyrell. If Loras has been changed to a second son in this universe, then shouldn't his sigil change to reflect that as well? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Omg, Drogo is just so... If I were Dany, I would happily wed him. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'm missing so much Dany. I'm really sad. But I know. The ship is a second thing, the conspiracy is THE thing |
![]() ![]() ![]() Littlefinger was an almost complete unknown at this point who had no power to his name, it will be years before he would even be considered a minor player. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Anyone that reviews as a guest (especially flaming) has nothing to say of any worth . If you can’t take the couple minutes to either create an account or sign in than your word are worthless. |
![]() ![]() Dont like how your betrothed treats women? Run off with a married man you can tell he treats women right by how he shames his wife and abandons his children to run off with a younger woman like you! This story seems to have a massive blindspot when it comes to rheagar and lyanna's flaws and fuckups, lyanna gets a pass cause she was only 15-16 but running off with rheagar was one bad decision after another and rheagar he was a grown ass man 23 or so he should have known better. Robert was a bad king but blaming him for the rebellion is fucking laughable rheagar and aerys split the blame 51/49 in my book. |
![]() ![]() Littlefinger at the end of the war is younger then catelyn who in turn is younger than ned so like 16 years old and was sent home to the fingers in disgrace after dueling Brandon stark, so right now shouldn't even be a blip on neds radar at best littlefinger is currently a customs clerk in gulftown which again of no concern to the warden of the north |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very well written. Interesting technique of framing the chapters. The interludes with the letters are most fun. As are the relationship dramas. But the story becomes stilted in the later chapters and the importance given to strategy and planning takes away the momentum of the story, making it exhaustingly repetitive in some places. Characters are bland and the storyline is flat. No major twist. Somehow every single thing goes by plan. And the ending is anti-climatic and way too easy and way too open-ended to be satisfactory. Sorry. Reading the first ten to fifteen chapters built up heavy expectations and the latter half of the story doesn't deliver. But that said, one of the few that stands out in terms of good writing. Kudos! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh no, poor Renly and Loras |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's really disappointing that Ned built a Sept inside Winterfell. After his ancestors pushed back that religion back South he just up and built one. The same Andals who loves disparaging the Stark's own religion. He's mostly an Arryn than a Stark. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've been enjoying this story quite a bit...but, I don't like the fact that Jon would think that his family practice of incest esp during the time of the dragons would produce madness...targs have magic in their dragon blood and there weren't that many in history of his family that were mad...also, though he ofc can see how beautiful Dany is, it's apparent that he's not in love w/her as she is w/him...I'd rather he was deeply in love w/her and work actively to be able to marry her, not this oh, she's my aunt..which he is completely aware that most nobles have histories of marriages b/t cousins or uncles and niece...finally, being able to control and ride a dragon warrants some good deal of targ blood and any dilution may play a role in not being able to...disappointed in his coldness to daenerys and being a dunce regarding targ blood w/dragons |
