![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for this great story. After the stupidity that was the last the last season of the show. I decided a few months after to look for fan fiction about GoT. This story was one of the 1st ones I found and can say that it was a great story from start to finish. Love what you did with it. Can't wait until your next story. |

![]() ![]() ![]() wait wait wait.. only two chapters left? if it is... not sure if I can accept it hahaha.. I had fun reading this... a political epic in my opinion and one of the best there is... Thank you very much for this chapter... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh wait, are we reaching the end? THat's fast... hahha.. thanks for this chapter... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Robb - Dacey - further securing the principality of North, making House Mormont a major major house. Sansa - Edric - when this pushes through. The North and a major influential house of Dorne will be in an alliance connecting the North to Dorne. Arya - Gendry - locking the alliance of North and Stormlands. Bran - ? - though I do hope he pushes through with Meera. Oh and I really really hope he does not die. Rickon - ? - why not someone from Westerlands or The Reach. Though I really hope he also is a key Stark in this story. The way I see it. While the Targaryens rule the Kingdom and have strong alliance with key people from each Ruling houses. The true power still here is The North. By marriage - Riverrun, Dorne, Targaryen through Jon, Stormlands By affiliation - The Vale Though Jon has a strong affiliation with Dorne and Westerlands eh. The Company of Rose will further bolster the North, but I think Jon has them with the Free Folk eh. This really is a definite political epic eh. Thanks for this chapter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I feel like Sansa and Edric's story are that of a star crossed lovers... I hope that they persevere until the end of this story... Thank you very much. |
![]() ![]() I really love Robb and Dacey together! And I love how Dacey said she fell for him because he allowed himself to be vulnerable around her and showed her his weakness. It doesnt seem that special in 2020, but in a medieval, patriarchal society, a man showing weakness would be looked down on because it was seen as something to hide. That Robb was able to share that side of himself and share his trauma with Dacey, a woman who wasn’t his family, is huge! |
![]() ![]() ![]() so, im hoping bran wargs into something so he can see and kills the TER. |
![]() ![]() Targling, I love that! I hope they have lots of little Targlings! |
![]() ![]() “I can afford to be choosy now, but in all honesty, most of the contracts offered to us are cries for help from slave masters to defend them from the Dothraki or other thieves. These masters pay exceptionally well." "You consider the Dothraki to be thieves?" Daenerys asked, remembering the Dothraki Khal who had saved her from Prince Quentin in Pentos. "Well, their way of life is rather violent," Strickland pointed out. "They respect strength, and a Khal can only remain in power if he provides for his Khalasar, puts down any threat from within his ranks, and defends his Khalasar from the other Khalasars that live on the extensive grasslands of the Dothraki Sea. These large plains are their natural habitat and do not always yield enough food, so they resort to plunder. They usually just steal from other Khalasars, but they have also been known to attack caravans travelling close to their territories. In these last few years, they have begun to raid the outskirts of the cities where the slave masters rule." "So you help the slave masters?" Dany asked in a slightly accusing tone.’ Ummmm, Dany is being a massive hypocrite here. The Dothraki ARE slave traders and slave owners! They kidnap and enslave innocent people from the cities they rape and plunder. Those enslaved innocent people are then either kept as slaves BY THE DOTHRAK or traded to slave cities in Slaver’s Bay and Quarth. Vaes Dothrak was BUILT by slaves. Hell, the dosh khaleen keep eunuch slaves and I guarantee you those eunuchs did NOT volunteer for genital mutilation. Again, the Dothraki are slavers. Dany is being a hypocrite. She’s right that slavery is wrong and should be overthrown, but she’s wrong to get all pissy at Strickland over working with slavers when the Dothraki are too. And yeah, no shit, the Dothraki are thieves. That’s literally their culture. They raise magnificent horses and they steal people and things. Get off your high horse, Dany! Just because she was saved by a khal does not make him or all Dothraki good. |
![]() ![]() I'm glad you addressed what would happen to the horn that enslaved Viserion because I was going to ask about it in a review otherwise! I'm glad that at least the experience has shown Viserion that having Dany as his rider would be a boon because Rhaegal was able to resist the horn. Poor Viserion, but maybe him being shown his vulnerabilities will make him better off in the long run? He's already learned that having a rider like Dany who respects him won't infringe on his freedom and will actually keep him safer, but maybe he'll also have learned not to rush headlong into things (thus avoiding any recklessness that could cause the Night King or another White Walker to harm him)? Also...I don't fully understand Lord Stark's issue with Sansa and Edric marrying? Catelyn makes sense because obviously she wants as much power and prestige as possible, so wants Sansa to marry as high as possible, but now that the war is over and Jon and Dany's reign is stable, there's no need to marry Sansa off for an alliance and you'd think he'd have learned from his mistakes with Lyanna and let his daughter who he claims to love marry for love herself! I'll lose all respect for him if he doesn't...he's seemed to get a little too political and big for his britches too during all of this...I haven't liked most of his decisions regarding Jon and saying that Jon needs to allow him reign over things in the North. He may be a prince now, but Jon is king and has ultimate supremacy over all the kingdoms. If Ned can't deal with that, how can he expect other Lords Paramount to do so? Ned can't expect special rights just because Jon is his nephew. Other Lords Paramount may be cowed because of Jon and Dany's dragons, but knowing that Jon would never use them on him shouldn't make him think he can get away with whatever he wants! Also, I'm curious who Jon will set Arianne and Trystane up with...will they be people not of Dorne? A |
![]() ![]() great chapter keep it up |
