It's impressive Shirou was able to put up a fight against someone like Reborn, if he's supposed to be in a similar weight class to Magicians. I guess the even more impressive thing is his will to even try, despite being outclassed. His limited Mana pool is a problem... Although personally I think that some of the ways Tracing is used are fishy, none of them really came up here.

Its already known that Shiro has memories from a parallel universe, not de and not dropped in that world and since his body and soul was born in that world he would not get any backlash from being in a mana enrich world.

I think I know why your confused. For different crossovers where Shiro is in a world with gods and phantasm creatures he would get a boost or more like Gaia would not be restricting his magecraft and the mana in the world would be more potent meaning his soul and body would be empowered in order to survive there. Same like irl that people say we are getting weaker, people in nasuverse past were stronger because of all the mystery going on which made people stronger because of the potent mana in the world and Gaia was not rejecting Mana users as badly as it is in present nasuverse. The mafia world had mana user is canon in your story but not many anymore but that still means there is/was a magical system in the world but because there are so few mages the power of mystery would give Shiro a boost in his magecraft because the less is known/understood about something, the more inherently "mystical" it is.

Gaia doesn't exist and mana was given to the world by a tree that is dead means that it stop producing mana but energy cannot be destroyed so that energy(mana) is in the atmosphere which ends up making people stronger/resilient with mana users getting the benefit of a system that won't fight against them which leads to them having stronger circuits and bodies that can withstand the environment. Gaia has a personality so saying its just a corrective force is only partially right since we have known that it called out for help from other planets with Crimson Moon being an example so yeah with no hateful Gaia against humans magecraft is easier to control.

Third point is that this Shiro was experience in his magecraft since he died while he was an adult so his control and mastery are high so he won't be wasting any mana so his impressive control just got easier.
