It's a shame this ends here. It's one of the most unique and well-written stories in this fandom

Oh wow, this story is amazing. I know it's been 2 years since the last update but this really is top quality with amazing new characters who feel three dimensional without taking over the whole plot. :)

The POVs of the different characters are sooo chef's kiss. We see the varying thoughts and feeling from these people.

This is such an exciting and awesome premise! Can't wait to read more :)

I just found this story today and when I say I blazed through it... It's VERY good. Great grasp on character personalities, and you've managed to make the OCs have depth and interest without making them the focus. I hope everything is well, and I'm following in the hopes of another update whenever you get the opportunity. Thank you for a wonderful twelve chapters!

I'm so glad you did this. It always bugged me how canon iroh was so believing in Zuko but just wrote azula off as a lost cause.

This is very entertaining
From the beginning to this point this story does not feel flat.
I love how this aberration the canon time line messes with everything.
Iroh now feels some duty of care to Azula,
Azula is hit with the fact that she DOES care about Zuko and feels 'something' about what he did,
Zuko was hit hard with the fact that his Father does not care about him, and is realizing his relationships with his sister and uncle could have been better.

Sorry to hear some people were harassing you to finish this story. I like a complete story as much as anyone but that’s no excuse to treat an artist like a printer.

I certainly relate to Toph disliking travel, although for different reasons. (I always get a headache when I’m stuck in a vehicle for too long.)

Also is Xia-Su gay? I hadn’t given it any thought until her “nobles and heterosexuals” line, thought that might just be me missing the obvious.

I also like how you capture Toph’s little moments of tenderness towards Zuko during their trip. It’s easy to forget with how independent she is how lonely she is too.

I love how dedicated everyone is to making sure Yang has as few opportunities to harass Zuko as absolutely possible.

It’s also nice to see more of Poppy in this story since we saw little of her in the show and even the comics focussed way more on her dad.

I too appreciate what Toph did to Fire Nation Man. I also appreciate her finally knowing Zuko's name; it was a sweet end to a very energetic chapter.

Something tells me when the Gaang shows up it’ll be harder for Zuko to leave than Toph, with the friends he’s made in Xia-Su and Yun.

This chapter was a bit slower but a nice look into how the other servants see “Li” and him still struggling with lying to them.

Okay, Toph's "stealing the win" line to explain the Bandit name was truly clever and funny. I'm disappointed they never thought to use that in the show.

And this was a satisfying arc to get to Zuko firebending again.

The scene with Xia-Su was rather harrowing without being too graphic, which I appreciate. You’ve done a good job setting her up as an OC.

I’m glad that Zuko and Toph resolved things without Zuko bending yet. In many stories that’s what would happen but trauma takes time to recover from and it’s nice when fiction realizes that.

I’m not a big fan of the comics but I admit making use of Lao’s “This is simply how it is done.” was a nice touch.

I continue to be impressed with how well you capture Toph and Zuko’s voices.

I. Love. This. So. Much. Honestly I think I just found my new favourite fic I really hope you update soon since this is hilarious, sad in some parts and utterly amazing without at any point being OOC. Also normally I hate an fic with non cannon characters as more than small background S but for this I WILL fight you if you dare insult Yun or Xia-Su. Plus they are both such a mood. I love this please keep going!
