Can you have Shirou tell King Aultcray that he made Melomarc into a slave state in the first place and let demihumans be abused, subjugate, discriminated and looken down upon without question also saying to him that he has no right to object to it when he allowed it to be part of Melomarc's culture so he's got no reason to condemn it at all when he is charging Naofumi with owning slaves and slandering his name as a hero. Also can you have Shirou point out to Motoyasu that if he really hates slavery that much and see it as such an injustice then he should protest it to the king, call him ( the King) out for making it part of Melomarc society and both ask and command him to abolish and end it for good in the kingdom rather than giving the King of a free pass and ignoring the elephant in the room also telling him honestly you voice out your problems with slavery why not question the King's decision to make it a right in Melomarc since he was the one responsible for making slavery legitimate and that he's clearly missing the big picture here as there's a-lot more people in this country who oppress demihumans than Naofumi from the King's action of approving slavery in his kingdom when Motoyasu is calling Naofumi out for having one. Throwing both Motoyasu and The King's hypocrisy and words right back at them.

Also when Ren and Itsuki are shocked to find out that Naofumi keeps Ralphtalia as a slave have Shirou tell them to criticize and sham the King ( Aultcray) for making slavery in Melomarc lawful and look outside in the country of Melomarc and see the cruelty of it's people to demihumans from the King authorizing it as the King's the biggest offender for not outlawing enslavement of demihumans and enslavement in general you shouldn't let his act of letting slavery go unpunished slide and don't let his royal title and rank walk all over you two listen to your conscience and show the guts that you have to speak out against the King and Malty for their actions including being fine with letting slavery and prejudice of demihumans be in Melomarc asking and telling them to stand up to King Aultcray and his daughter for their actions, irredeemable traits and levels they are willing to sink in order to fulfill their ambitions be smarter and better than Motoyasu and take a stand against both the King and Malty ( Myne the princess).

I kinda like how things develop slowly. Most just go fast ignoring a lot of stuff but here it takes the time and develops Naofumi in a more natural manner, things are shit for Naofumi and haven't changed a lot. Is only after the wave that things truly begin to change but Naofumi is stronger way stronger than before and has the knowledge to use many supporting powers of the shield.

On other hand, Shirou. This one is before the war when he was weak and far more adaptable to changes in his personality with Rin, Saber and Sakura he grows in different ways. Right now the one that changes him and forms his path is Naofumi. He has developed a broader mentality by watching Naofumi and understand the result of his actions, he understand that a Hero needs to think the result of his actions, he is beginning to understand about getting something back after his hero actions by watching Naofumi getting lessons about making medicines something that could help many people, he understands how the world can be cruel like it was with Naofumi and begins to understand the evil of others.

In fact, this fic as a story about the changes in two different characters. In Naofumi apart of power and skill isn't visible but on Shirou is something that is already happening.

One of the best of this crossover I have read!

... okay at first I was kinda excited about this story, but I feel it's too stagnant. Ive read another fic, i think hypocritical hero or something, where NOTHING changed despite shirou being there. There were some good parts, but overall he seems like a third wheel while naofumi bonds with rataphina. Kid shirou or not he hasn't really induced change. It's rather sad seeing shirou be more of a background character who's being wasted. Hopefully soon shirou will play a larger role and we deviate from canon.
That said it would be amusing if the legendary holy sword or bow burn their owners as they resonate with shirou, making everyone say 'whaaaaa?!'

oh my god, that cliffhanger literally killed me, like I'm DYING to know, to read! And it's as painful as Naofumi thinking of Shirou's and Raphtalia's words as "lip service"

I really hope Shirou and Raphtalia can help him!

Really hope things actually change more, as it is Shirou is just acting as a second loyal slave, and that's not changing much, outside of making things easier for Naofumi.

I do enjoy this take on Shirou in this world. keep it up my dude
