The only thing I'm confused by so far is if Shirou has tried practicing his magecraft in this world or not. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't since it would be hard to conceal given the circumstances, what surprised me more was he didn't try to do things like cooking and such.

Shirou's transformation makes no sense apart from being influenced by Naofumi's animal charisma.
The only way he could have been transported to this world in his situation would be because of Zelretch.
Would it have been much more understandable if Shirou had been summoned from a Vassal Weapon with his adventures and perhaps to join the Shield later or simply become the Young Hero of the Legendary Holy Sword?
It was a good idea to use an immature version of it that should deal with slavery in a medieval system but as you set it seems too forced.
I personally would rewrite the story without Demi-Human transformation.

I'm not sure what the point of this story is. Shirou might as well be an OC character that doesn't bear any resemblance to the real character from Fate Stay/Night. For one thing, does he even have his Kaleidoscope magic?

Btw Kaleidoscope magic is far more potent than the magic in this world so, if Shirou were to rain down hundreds of swords on the monsters, he'd roflstomp the monsters.

The other thing I'm not sure of is, why Shirou hasn't revealed himself and the fact that he is a fellow Japanese from Japan to Naofumi. If Naofumi realized that he had a fellow Japenese for a slave...he'd be shocked and disgusted with himself for enslaving someone else from Japan. It's different with Raphtalia because she is a demi-human half human, half monster so he would see things in simple terms...but a fellow Japenese...he'd probably release Shirou from slavery immediately.

Also, Raphtalia doesn't have much in-dependency at the beginning which is why she wasn't rebellious or resistant to be a slave but...Shirou was born and raised in a modern society where he would rebel the idea of being a slave to the point of constantly defying Naofumi's orders even with the slave crest causing him pain. He would never accept his fate as a slave...which begs the question, why isn't he trying to find away to free himself?
