my sympathies for your loss. lost one of my oldest friends, Paul, who I've literally known since the cradle in February. the fact that it was his own damn fault for not wearing a seatbelt just made it worse. especially since he had two kids.

and now I am dealing with rebuilding after losing my home in a fire.

Okay, a pretty amusing read so far. Not sure if you'll continue it, but it'd be interesting if you did. Not often I get to read a Worm fic without a depressed/mentally scarred Taylor being the focus. Her actually being somewhat well-adjusted and having friends opens up some fun daydreams.

A Taylor-Amy combo early on? *shivers* The girl locked to "only" controlling arthropods and the girl who can cram practically any biological feature into a technically-an-arthropod (or technically-anything-else) given sufficient prep time.
