While I’m sad to see there is only one chapter left, I cannot wait to see how Rory and Logan’s story ends. I have no doubt that you have the perfect way to end it!

I’ve seen this story before but the update yesterday made me dive in. I dove in head first and didn’t come up until today. Cover to cover binged on the whole thing. Love it. Oh how I love Richard and his grapefruits. Logan and Rory you can feel it all the love the chemistry the worries the hurt the joy.
I do hope you come back soon. Please please finish this story. What a wild wandering tail that captures love and all the crazy it makes us to do.

These two have enough electric chemistry to start a fire. I will be ecstatic once they both stop running from what they both want, a loving family with their son. Mitchum doesn’t understand what it is to be a great father. All he knows is business and paying others to do what he should be doing for his children. Rory’s new comic strip sounds amazing. She should make it into a children’s book series. Her and Logan make a great team in every aspect of their lives. It’s time for them to see what everyone else sees when they see them together, that they are made for each other. I’m anxiously waiting to see how you are going to end this fantastic story.

Awesome chapter! Oh so many gems here. Her heart to heart with Ben about being called Mommy changing her mindset and Ben’s admission of how psyched Logan was about it revealed how important being Aiden’s mommy is to both her and Logan. She may not be Logan’s wife but her role as Aiden’s mommy/baby partner means even more to him. His use of Baby partner used to annoy me. Now I see that for him it was the greatest compliment to give her.

Ben knows Logan better than anyone. He knew Chelsea and Logan’s problems and knows how scared Logan is that the new love of his life who’s given him his family will also run from him once she gets familiar with his Huntzberger obligations. Logan’s compartmentalizing of his favorite things to protect them from Mitchum makes sense. Logan’s fate is hard for him swallow but his spoonful of sugar, Rory, makes it palatable. Mary Poppins reappears. So glad Ben confirmed she deserves credit for Logan surviving the past year with Mitchum/ without Aaron. Thankfully, Rory’s new insight into Logan’s mindset is giving her confidence.

I was afraid we’d run into Chelsea at the anniversary service. Glad you didn’t dwell on it and that Logan even told Rory that the competition between her and Chelsea is all in her head. He’s Completely over her.

Loved Mitchum telling the guys that Logan’s a good orderer. I think even Mitchum realizes Logan’s good at everything. Just like years before at McDonalds. I was proud of Logan for leaving the business meeting to read a bedtime story to Aiden. Family trumps business. Logan’s priorities are clear. I hope he is successful in his new Internet endeavor with Ben and that it minimizes his Huntzberger obligations. I love that his recent extensive business travels have forced him to trust Rory with Aiden more and it is clear that she wants to be a part of all of his lives.

Oh the Star theme! Mitchum picked the perfect gift. The App allows Logan to locate it from wherever he travels. It connects him to his loves. Colins star theory with the five points also beIng a home is coming to fruition. Their return to Yale and the planetarium reignited their sparks. I loved the imagery of him whisking her off in her maxi dress and heels to break into the dining hall for ice cream. Such a childish adventure. He’s recreated past Chelsea adventures with Rory but his admission that he’s done more meaningful first times with Rory made me smile. I’m sure these firsts: trying to have his baby, seeing the sticks turn blue, Aidens birth and every first with Aiden and Rory since are etched in his mind.

Their banter and sparks at Yale were so well written. I was screaming “kiss her”. I liked how she wished they went to Yale together so she could have experienced his youth with him, his butt faced miscreant days. I like the man the Boy grew up to be.

Aiden’s chickenpox incident was just what they needed to put a bubble around their little family. What would normally be a nightmare actually brought them closer. You had me laughing when Logan used Rajiv from Legal to put Aiden to sleep! Natalie questioning whether he needed more tic-tac-toe/Ritalin showed how well she knows him. Fortunately he didn’t need them since all 3 of them would be together.

Damn the BBC deals. Mitchum missed Amelias birth because of them and is now trying to drag Logan’s family into the chaos. Glad Logan refused to jump. I liked when Logan tried to keep Rory out of it because she’s not a Huntzberger and Mitchum's reply that she became one the minute she got pregnant. There is no doubt that Mitchum acknowledges Rory as a Huntzberger No matter what Logan states. He even referred to her as his daughter in law at his party. She is part of his obligations in a good way. Mitchum loves and appreciates her. He never liked or loved Chelsea.

The quarantine scene with their hands touching as they stroked their little boy’s hair was so sweet. I felt the Electricity. Darn Lorelei for ruining another moment! Their discussion about Lou Reed’s album and Satellite of Love being Logan and Aiden’s, aka Sputnik’s, song made me smile. So sweet. A eureka moment.. Did Rory know that’s his nickname?

Im happy the comics have reappeared in a much more family friendly way. Everyone in the family can enjoy these. I was curious about what she was working on. Your little goggle and cape wearing Super Boy trying to travel among the stars in space was absolutely perfect. Logan’s tweaks made it even better. Glad to see that darned lamp from Chelsea helped them out. I’d love to see this comic actually become a story. It’s so Clever.

The thoughts of shirtless Logan rocking Aiden, mmmm! Thank you Aiden for going to sleep early so mommy and daddy could enjoy some wine and unwind. This was the best wrinkle in time. When he said “this is a mistake” afterward I was So glad she countered with “you’re my favorite mistake”. They’ve used those lines before on her birthday celebrations. It brought back good memories. I’m hoping Sputnik 2 is their new favorite mistake,

I know this review was long, but I cherish this story and enjoy the weaving of the past and present and the way you paint the perfect imagery. There’s Only one great chapter left. I’m sure I’ll be reading this whole story Again in the future discovering new gems. I can’t thank you enough!

Yay it worked! the wait on the new chapter wasn't so long after rereading the whole story. And what a chapter we got, I think this is my favourite so far! combines everything that makes rogan in this story: banter, dynastic plans, planetariums, family time and unbelievable chemistry!
it sucks that the waiting time is back to square one now and we are so close to the end...

Seeing an update of "About a Boy" whenever I hit the GG story page makes me happy. After reading the new post, I'm always happier. This update is no exception. Thank goodness for chicken pox! And thank you for this update. I'm not too happy about the Colin quote. I could continue reading this story for a long time if you kept writing.

Thanks for a really great update, good to read lots of Rory and Logan scenes again.

And we are one London trip close to the first chapter.
I want them seriously back together and atleast engaged but at the same time I don’t want this fic to end.

I don’t want this story to end the only positive side is that these two will finally get out of their heads and get together.
Please consider posting the deleted scenes ;) that would be so cool to read even after the story is over.

I think I’ve said this before, but I love how you write in little snippets of the original show. It’s a lovely Easter egg and it just fits perfectly with your universe. I love your spin on the original characters as well as the new characters! I can’t wait to read it all once it is over.
