Good chapter. I'm glad you took my suggestion; I would have hoped out if he joined Kumo. Hell, the alliance with Kumo is iffy considering they were one of the villages who massacred his clan and tried to kidnap his mother for a baby factory.

I like the old man OC, so here's hoping he can make Naruto Uber bad ass in short order. His sensor ability seems really useful.

Oh? Very surprising twist with Gensai being alive and well. So in this one was Kumo not part of the original attack on Uzu as in canon? Or did he just let it go since it was a different Kage and council?
