Glad you updated! As I was reading the chapter, I got reminded of Crypto from Apex Legends. I just imagined Jaune with his own little drone flying around. Pretty cool. Good chp.

Nice. This is pretty interesting angle from the few other tactical Jaune's I have seen. With integration into technology he will be an interesting fighter to go against if he can make it work for him. On another note he would be an Atlas Nightmare if he were an enemy. Hello even as an ally he could be a nightmare for anyone who is a corrupt official. I doubt even the best firewalls and defenses could slow him down.

Not to mention a robot army if he could manage it. Hell he is the ultimate spy virus. I can almost see him doing that thing in that batman movie where batman turned every cellphone into a spying sonar device.

Here he could see through anyone's scrolls and audio since as shown in the series it is quite advanced. Crooks and evil doers beware for Jaune might just be listening or watching.

Liked that despite his obvious disadvantage fighting that he was just as willing to charge in to protect his partner and something he showed everyone else he was willing to do as well. Even if they do find out about his fake transcripts I doubt Yang will make a big deal as he clearly is willing to fight and risk himself to save her sister. Same with Ruby of course.

Look forward to seeing where this goes and how Jaune uses his semblance along with him being partner to Ruby.

Four more months !? I can't wait !

And he makes his triumph return! Glad to see you're still alive and kicking my friend, trust me, I know how you feel about being way to busy to do anything. The Navy has been kicking my ass hard, and our ship recently came infected with Covid. But enough about me, and onto the chapter.

So, we get a taste of what Jaunes semblance can do, and I have to say, it's pretty op from a certain perspective. Pretty much anything that's electronic is at Jaunes beck and call, which is extremely useful when being used properly as you demonstrate with the security cameras and Jaune digging up background on Ren and Nora. I can already see that being dead useful for avoiding pitfalls that happened in cannon.

I'm loving the chemistry between Jaune and Ruby, and how they're already developing into being very dedicated partners. Ruby telling jaune that his semblance isn't useless was a nice touch, and the scene with him tanking the deathstalkers blow to save Ruby was great.

The best part of the chapter was Jaune formulating the plan and getting the show off his smarts. The fact that the others have unconditional trust in his plan made me smile, and despite it being a rehash of a scene we've seen re-written a hundred times, I felt like you did a solid job of writing it with your own twist.

I'm going to stick with this. I really like the concept and I'm interested to see how you tread the line between powerful and OP with Jaune's Semblance. I do hope the dialogue for the characters other then Jaune becomes less of regurgitated script and more original. However, this is my only criticism. Keep up the good work.
