this was a really great chapter

All things considered, if Salem and her group discover Jaune he should pretty quickly shift into the "kill immediately" category; as long as he's alive, Salem and her known squad (i.e. not Watts) can't risk operating within the kingdoms without a disguise. In less "end of the world" but more "potentially dystopian" news, this new facial recognition program could very quickly have some less than virtuous uses in the policing department, so hopefully nothing goes wrong there.

Another cool chapter though, even if I feel Jaune should probably have asked for evidence of magic beyond "what do you think a Semblance is?" Not because a semblance isn't proof enough - honestly, it seems no different to magic - but simply because magic is unknown, while semblances are common. As such, even if semblances aren't understood, it would make sense for proof of the unknown to be needed as opposed to questioning what's accepted. Theoretically that could be Qrow's transformation, since that was enough for Weiss and Yang.

Good chapter Jaune is learning secrets and he and Ruby are still cute

Just like the Pokedex in the Pokemon, the Grimmdex will be staple in every household soon and with that Jaune made it easier for both Huntsmen, Civilians, and Officers/Military to be able to escape, kill, defeat, or to know more about it. Good job on Jaune for developing something like that.

Can't wait to see Jaune on his new outfit and whatnot. Since, he's technically a Technopath now. Would he be able to do something similar to Penny like what she did with her flying swords and whatnot?

I love how the grimmdex works! It really does sound like something that the huntsmen/resses of Remnant would need. Thanks for sharing and update soon!

Looks like the app is a hit, I wonder if he made any money on it. Even if it was like 1 Lien he would be rich as hell. Though with his powers he could be rich just by investing or stealing money from criminals.

Memoria Auri... damn, that sounds so cool! Can't wait to see it in action! Though given that he needs a way to keep it on him, he'll either need a new outfit as he believes or he could just get whatever Ruby uses to keep Crescent Rose attached to her back. Probably a magnetically based holster.(more partner bonding!)

Also, I like how Jaune hid the truth with absurdity. It could be turned into a running gag of sorts as the story goes on. Though I think his friends will finally believe him when things get serious.

As for the app, the 0.2 negative score, it will forever be in my headcanon that it's Port just miffed that all of his stories about dealing with grimm aren't being verified as truth.

Also, while the app is most likely free for the sake of helping others, I can't help but imagine that it might end up being a pretty decent source of income for Jaune if he wants it to be.

Nice! I always like positive reaction of something the mc do, and frankly this Grimmdex appear to have helped humanity against Salem more than anything we saw the characters do.

Instead of saving the world, he will help the world to save themselves, wonderful.

How about more apps? like an app for huntsmen missions, or danger areas map, like a Waze where nearby huntsmen can sent help of neededmaybe something that will show that Haven is having several huntsmen dying on revemt years, or to recogze criminals, or even somerhing that generates money like flapbird.

or integrate his semblance on his fighting, like developikg auto aim programs, turrets, holograms... well, i think this is the best chapter solely by the app review. like i said, i love positivity it gives.

More secrets huh? He hasnt told his teammates that he forged his way into beacon, and now he has to hide info about the Maidens as well~ Hope to see more Jaune/Ruby, cause they're adorable.
