Ric did cheat on Alexis before that with Reese Marshall. One of Sonny's side chicks between rounds with Carly. The panic room storyline is one of the few moments I ever gave a crap about Carly. That and when Ric made Carly believed they slept together, he drugged and undressed her and she woke up that way. To me that was as much sexual assault as what Franco did to Sam. As much as I loathe Ric Lansing, Rick Hearst is a excellent actor.

You are correct Jason would not have that discussion with Cam without Elizabeth present unless it was a life or death situation. Honestly, for not liking a character, I think you have done well in capturing some of old school Jason roaring back to life.

I think what you are doing with this story is great! So don't second guess yourself.

Gosh, now I want to go back and re-write what I think went wrong in 2006. So many ideas and so little time to write...

Due to the mind mapping/hypnosis Liz thinks Jason is full of it so she doesn't believe he's Cameron's father (though somewhere deep down inside she does). I'm not a Jason fan, so I hope this in character, but I think he would feel uncomfortable telling Cam that he's his father without Elizabeth's okay and support. He's been trying to protect the boys and earn their trust, but even though he knew the truth about the mind mapping and it was wearing off quite a bit, it was still there too. So yeah, Cam doesn't know the truth yet.
I started watching the show around the same time as Foxy, so I didn't know all of Ric's history at first either. The first thing I remember about him was being good to Alexis and Kristina when no one else was. What did it for me was the summer of Sic. I just couldn't... he was Sam's stepfather. It would be enough if he cheated on Alexis with another woman, but her daughter... ugh... Yes, I admit both Alexis and Sam had their part in it, but I put majority of the blame on Ric. He was the stepfather in the situation and both Alexis and Sam were still processing all of their emotions. While there was consent and Sam did set out to seduce him in the beginning, I believe to a certain degree, he took advantage of Sam or at least the situation that night. Then sometime later I found out about his history, ie locking Carly in a panic room, drugging Elizabeth, etc. So yeah, I'm done with Ric Lansing. I think the only reason I might like Liric to a degree would be Elizabeth as Molly's stepmom would be sweet.

Becky and Rick H had some great chemistry, even I'll admit that. But even if I hadn't been a severely ticked off liason fan, I would still found him to be slick, sleazy and slimy. The embolism happening by him overdosing her with bc pills, Pillow in hand to smother her to save his own behind, dropping his drawers for his mistress and then said mistress pulling all the crap she did would have killed any liked I would have had for them as a couple if I had liked them to begin with.

I really enjoyed AZ skewering him with that sword at the B&W Ball.

I’m glad Jason is putting a stop to this. Now I won’t like part of me will always like Liz n Ric but that’s cause I liked them before I learned their history. And he a bad guy in this. So no one said anything about Liz getting married without even talking to Cam. Has Jadon not told Cam he his dad that would probably get them together a little more n they could have come up with something

Ohhhhhh, is Cam faking to get out of the wedding or did Ric poison him to keep him home or worse. My Lizzie would not have gone through with the wedding without all of her men there. Go get him Jason! Wonder if Sonny and Carly's heads would explode if Jase just picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder and ran? Good chapter, can't wait to see if Cam and Jase are up to something or if Ric has put one of my liason babies in peril.

Very nice. like that Jase apologized. I also like that Sam is not being caught up in getting back with Drew immediately, but giving herself time. Agree with Foxy, it would make sense to have the daughter she thought she lost a comparable age to everyone else.

Chrissy- I like your comparison sexis/liason. RE Liz: I agree that she lied to protect Jake, Lucky and Sam a bit but the longer it went on I think she also was afraid of how the fall out would be on her. I love Liz and get the why but wish she didn't. Maybe if Sonny and Carly had both left their noses out of it , Jason wouldn't have lead in with I already know and maybe it is better, danger blah,blah, the mess wouldn't have happened.

Oh I see you trying to get me to not hate Jason. I’m going to try just cause like you n I know ChrissyFan wants Liason. Funny how I’m way more open to Liason now cause I want him away from Sam so bad I don’t care who gets him long as Sam is just his friend if that lol. But I’m glad he apologized shows he can be the man I had always hoped. Glad Sam is set in taking her time n clearing her mind.

Foxy, glad it makes sense to age up Sam's daughter. I'm personally enjoying adding that in to the story. Nelle is starting to be up there with Carly, she's so much fun to write.
I know right? Why do they have to age Danny over Jake? If Danny isn't older, than they're the same age at least. And they're making Danny just like Jason. At least his eyes are brown like Sam's, I guess. Nothing against the adorable kids who have played Danny and Scout through the years, but it bugs me so much that both started off looking more like Sam's side of the family then started looking more and more like Jason. I thought the babies that played Danny up until he was a toddler was the perfect blend of Jason and Sam, but was moreso Sam imo. And Scout at first, Alexis said she looked like Molly, dark hair, brown eyes, totally a Davis girl. Then they made her look more like Drew, but I'm sure their ulterior motive was to make her look like Jason. That's one thing I always liked about Liz's boys. Cam looks like Elizabeth (though now I swear he's got a little of Jason in him too, but moreso Liz), Jake looks like Jason, and Aiden looks like Lucky. Neither of Sam's kids look like her :(
Chrissyfan, honestly, I think Liason/Jake are Sexis/Kristina and Jasam are Carson. Now, I am in no way saying I want Sexis, there may have been times through the years I thought it would be cool to see them together... but think about it... Elizabeth kept the truth about Jake to protect him just like Alexis did with Kristina. Both Jake and Kristina get scraps from their fathers while their siblings AND step siblings get more (Danny still doesn't get much from Jason, but way more than Jake). Everyone blames Elizabeth and Alexis for it, but Sonny and Jason don't take any responsibility in it. Kind of sad really.

You have to age Sam’s kid per Mikey/Krissy/Morgan/Molly are aged up. It would have been weird to me atleast if she was a teen. I’m still offended that Cam not an adult with them. It annoys me that they aged half n not all. Danny looking older than Jake is all the way weird.
Glad they had the family therapy n Alexis got hear them say they forgive her. I’m with Sam we don’t want Nelle lol.

Very nice chapter. I think Alexis needed to get that off her chest and know that Julian and Sam forgive her. I'll be interested in everyone's mapping reversal but really interested in what you do with Jason and if the reversal can correct the damage from his orig memory loss or not.

Gh: I don't mind his regret about Alan, but like you, I think that not pushing to be more present in Jake's life should be up there as well. I get that Jasam is going be the couple but that doesn't mean that Jason can't have a relationship with Jake. If Jason were to move on from Sam (not w/ Liz) I guarantee tptb would not negate Danny out of his life. Oh bloody heck, I feel a rant coming on and my one typing arm is already tiring. Shoving the soapbox back.

I aged up Jake in this story too, since they aged Danny over him on the show. On my next chapter I'll write out more of the characters ages in this so it makes sense in case some don't read the reviews. I've done that for the kids, just not the adults. I apologize for any confusion. I was going to have Sam tell Kristina when they were at Kelly's that her daughter wouldn't be much younger than her but I forgot. I guess that's a problem with fanfiction, you don't do a lot of editing, and I tell a lot, one of the biggest rules in writing is show rather than tell, but I feel like with this I'm writing it so fast that rule doesn't really apply. Anyway, I hope I'm making some sense.

Oh, they even aged up Alexis when they made Sam her daughter, Nancy said that herself in an interview. I think Alexis was supposed to be in her 30s but she was aged to 42, that was in 2006.
