Just reread this again and boy it was and still is good even to this day. One of my first fanfiction works that I read since I discovered this site, and I consider this one of my all time fanfics. Shame it seems it won't be updated for a while (if ever). Hope this gets picked up in the future.

Hwang Manuel You said it yourself, it's original content. Rising of shield hero fanfics always tend to copy and paste and not change anything at all, it's refreshing to see someone who actually makes an effort.

well. finally caught up i suppose.

i'll be frank, overall i think the fic was good. but right at the last 3 or 4 chapters it felt like a reading filler that added nothing outside of being extended original content, only right in the end adding a twist and ending it with interaction with a new character (which, if anything, raphtalia's consistent adamant-ness is to praise.)

6/10, decent read all things considered. the concept of king's character in the new setting was well used in the first half at least.

it had its good parts, but this chapter in particular felt way too unnecessarily long

... huh, king would have a field trip with the rng enhancement methods
