If you continue, I think it would super interesting to see how you handle the IC. I am honestly not a fan of the IC and would love their asses to be handed to them. Regardless, loved the writing!

I’m sorry that I haven’t left any reviews before this (I ended up blowing through the whole story in one sitting), but I absolutely LOVE this.
I had honestly been searching for a ff that showed the banter and family/ friendship in the inner circle, but this one caught my eye in between my searches. I love Cassian and Nesta’s dynamic, and ACOSF really drew out more of Nesta’s character as well as Cassian’s genuinely good self. I was a bit peeved at the amount of... intense lovemaking? But thoroughly enjoyed the book.
So, this ff was amazing! While I do think that Mor is a bit meaner than what I think she would be like, I so appreciate that you included the fact that Nesta has been treated somewhat poorly by her, and especially Rhys. I also thought that it was upsetting how Feyre didn’t have at least one painting of Nesta in the river house!
Not to mention, you including more of the Illyrians’ lifestyle, since they were just brushed off as brutes in the main books, as well as “lesser” fae in Velaris and beyond was so refreshing and interesting to read!
Above everything, I enjoyed just how well you captured Nesta and Cassian’s characters and dynamics. Of course, “nothing can beat the original,” but you come very close to it, especially at certain points! I can tell that you really considered their personalities and characters rather than just shaping them around a preset story. The inner mental struggles Nesta dealt with and her certain little quirks were captured so well, and many of Cassian’s lines/ moments had me genuinely laughing.
Overall, I so appreciate this story; keep doing what you do! I know that many people did not like Nesta before ACOSF and some still don’t, but I’ve personally always liked her and had empathy/ understanding for her and why she acted the way she did. I am so glad to see someone who truly took her character and mental health into consideration without making her out to be a villain. You’re very smart and kind!
