Hehehehehe. I've heard the expression from one bad thing to another and that's what this chapter felt like. We see the Travellers make bad plans, then the Undersiders, and then Damsel of Distress and I like how you had some recursive observation going on too. I haven't seen that happen in a long time.

Pretty sure that Ashley will not take no for an answer and I look forward to Regent screwing up her aim.

I had a chuckle at Ashley's chapter ending thoughts, oh the dramatic irony of her leaving Boston to get away from Accord only to head for the same city he's moving to.

It's bad that a self-centered prick like Cody is now in charge of what's left of the Travellers and it's not just that he's a Simurgh-bomb waiting to go off. Once in Brockton Bay, they can save money by stealing a full-sized van conversion. Much more discreet than an RV but has a kitchenette and beds built-in.

Yes, it can work. For a time. But it needs to be a genetic deaf, blind, etc. person with trigger and cape capabilities. So the ultimate Fuck-You of the world, a reincarnated Pol Pot, or something.
