Reviews for Code Prime - Shattered Glass
Sarcasm Sage 626 chapter 3 . 11/4/2022
This was a fascinating look at Shattered Glass Nunnally, as well as her extended family and friends. Makes sense that she’d be a lot more cynical given all she’s gone through, but still kind of depressing that unlike her mainline self who sees the good in everyone, here she seems to actively seek out the worst in those around her.

Wholesome to see a Victor who is genuinely supportive of his family, in terms of his brothers relationship and being a cool uncle. If his lack of agin is any indication, he obtained his Code much later in life, which probably helped with his maturity a bit. Like the whole crouching moron, hidden badass approach you have him take for his advisory duties, helps contrast V.V. who gives off the impression of being a completely calm and collected chessmaster, but throws a tantrum whenever things don’t go his way.

And Mao was a big surprise! Him being a therapist makes for a great contrast to his mainline self, using his Geass (if he has it) to help build people up rather than tear them down. That tidbit about him being so grateful to the doctors that helped him that he wanted to emulate them is very wholesome. And intrigued by his closing statement, which makes it seem like C.C. is a lot more malicious in this version.

And we get our first glimpse of the Shattered Glass Autobots and ‘White Knights’, and it is not pretty. Lelouch and Optimus still have a mentor student relationship, albeit much more twisted than their mainline one. Not to mention, Lelouch being petty and sadistic enough to take joy in attacking innocents easily makes him just as, if not more so, evil than a lot of the mainline Brittanians and Decepticons. The fact that he used Nunally as a punching bag really sells how much of a scumbag he really is.

Suzaku and Euphemia being based off Beast Boy and Terra is very worrying, though I’m not sure where Suzaku is on the morality spectrum. His mainline self is someone well intentioned who ends up doing questionable things, before eventually becoming better thanks to everyone’s influence, so maybe this one can be someone with ill intentions but does good actions?
Though Euphemia being a manipulative psychopath caught me off guard. As did Sayoko apparently being an assassin. Still a sort of ninja so it’s not too far off in terms of skills.
And Rai. From the loyal freedom fighter with trauma from being strapped to an operating table, to a conniving mad scientist who seems to delight in torturing people.

This is a very interesting concept, Shattered Glass implementing the Code Geass characters. Cool to think of Charles and Victor as good guys, and proud that they managed to actually change the world for the better. Too bad about the Autobots undermined all that effort, and helped incite racism against the benevolent aliens who helped the world recover from Brittania’s oppression.

Glad to see Nunnally is just as nice as ever, even if Lelouch sadly seems screwed to a hilt. Not sure why that would be given he lacks anything resembling the dark backstory his mainline self has.

Small note, like how Megatron has to stop himself from referring to the Nemesis as Tryticon. Small but clear way to show how much he cares about his comrades.

I can only imagine what SG Britannia is like. I would assume that, unlike canon, they're a benevolent nation that values it's people and peace rather than march for war. SG Japan would undoubtedly be the aggressors with the Britannian Royals a mixed bag of personalities.

What about the knight of round and purebloods.

Chaud ! situation extrême pour les Decepticons
manquerait plus que les 2 versions de Code Prime se rencontrent genre les Autobots (bons) se retrouvent envoyés dans SG
délire garantit !
