| Guest chapter 29 . 7/25/2023 I really like this fic. Read it for the first time a few years ago, just finished reading it again for like the fourth time. (I don't even use this website anymore. Speaking of which, apologies if I mess up the social/cultural nuances haha.) The worldbuilding and concepts and characterizations are all delightful. I love your Sakura and Inner Sakura in particular, along with Kakashi and Rin. The reveal of their whole deal never fails to give me chills - when Jiraya says "Minato grieved for you. I never understood why. You two were monsters." I love love love it. The way both of them were so broken. Gah. And Sasuke! He's always such a fun narrator because he's so unemotive - there could be anything under there. And all the times other ninja talk about how Konoha nin really freak them out is great. Naruto's clones are spectacular. All the bits with Orochimaru were hilarious. I love him. In this world no one cares about whatever he's got going on because everything is so fucked up already. The mix of funny and disturbing his just right. |
