I'm actually surprised at how conflicted this chapter made me. Because I WANT it to happen, and I WANT them to be together, but the weird adulty voice in my head is like, but he can't! What about the vow to his fake god?! He can't just throw it all away! And how could she do it like it's NBD because it is to him!

But then like... they're only human. Is it a big deal? How long can she be his dirty secret before one of them can't do it anymore, or someone finds out?

Lawd I forgot what angst that isn't my own life feels like and I love it.

Okay, I was apprehensive because a) I'm not religious, 2) I thought Edward would be the stereotypical priest and that seemed weird, iii) really the whole premise seemed creepy, but ZOMG! This is amazing. I should have known you guys wouldn't lead me astray.
