Zandaino-Nova-Ari chapter 20 . 11/2 Wait did Fluer die? |
Guest chapter 7 . 11/2 They are a boy right? Not sure thought they were a girl for most of it |
Guest chapter 6 . 11/2 Bad person you lost Hagrid as a friend |
jiubantai-taicho chapter 2 . 10/11 Fucking retarded asshole Ollivander uses 3 CORES JUST 3! Unicorn tail hairs, Phoenix feathers or Dragon heartstrings! Not that fucking retarded ass crap you invented! Sure other wand makers might use that shit but NOT Ollivander! |
Zaytunger chapter 15 . 9/21 this work would be a one of its kind and top class however romance butchered this extremely, changing tone of the work with added emotional baggies, what a shame |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/6 "AU from triwizard onward" Or, in other words: Not AU at all. "AU" means "Alternate Universe". That doesn't mean that someone made some different decision at some point, resulting in events playing out differently. It means that something in that universe is fundamentally different, like the laws of magic being different. If the universe is the same before the tournament, then it's the same afterwards too (except of course, if you travel to a different universe after the tournament). |
Ithasbeengoodreading chapter 1 . 8/25 That was good |
MisterMisplay chapter 13 . 6/30 I remember reading about early 19th century apprenticeship contracts, describing their trade as "the art, science, and mystery". You've managed to make magic feel like an art, science, and mystery, one of the best portrayals of the back-end of a magic system im fiction that I've seen. |
lukeanimelover chapter 9 . 5/7 I thought ron could copy what harrys parseltongue to get into the chamber of secrets in the last movie? So doesnt that stand to believe that parsel tongue could be learned like any other language? |
lukeanimelover chapter 3 . 5/7 Dont really like how you skipped the hogwarts express and the sorting but meh.. i guess thats okay. And the law on occlumency makes so much sense! I always thought people didnt learn it because it was a obscure art or that it might be frowned upon by the ministry. But i never thought about a law permitting it! Cant wait to see where this story goes… |
camilosabay chapter 24 . 5/7 es un concepto complicado y que me gusto mucho gracias |
Guest chapter 23 . 3/30 It is an okay story. But it is also a garbage fanfic. The main lure to this fic would be the MC x Fleur pairing, a unique outlook on magic, and seeing what an SI MC will do in Potterverse. The MC x Fleur pairing was lackluster. There was not much care for each other between them. At least, it was not really shown. And when the author killed off Fleur, one of the main hooks for this story became undone. Reading the rest kinda felt pointless. The outlook on magic... it contains too much BS to be interesting. Like, sure. Could be. But the author is trying to make it 'mysterious' and whatnot. So much so that it stops really being enjoyable. At least that was my experience. There is a certain point when trying to be all shifty about how the magic actually works starts to become just bothersome. And the SI MC... now that is a bonafide shitstorm. Basically, this idiot only really got up from his ass when Fleur died. He moaned about the threat to the Statute of Secrecy and knew that Voldy's little war will probably break it, but did nothing about it. It took Fleur's death for him to move and then Voldy died in practically one second without any way to resist cuz the MC magicked himself into some sort of BS Godhood or something. Sounds like a BS? Good. It does to me, too. Of course, the MC is so incompetent that he forgot to deal with Death Eaters and Potter went on a rampage and broke the Statute so everything went to shit anyway. And Fleur stayed dead. Good story. Shit fanfic. Honestly? I feel like shit after reaching the end. |
1210justinp chapter 22 . 2/29 NGL the last 3 chapters are just Bullshit. It was an enjoyable magical Wizarding World though. |
Zaytunger chapter 2 . 1/28 fucking a disgrace to use other countries' cultural aspects in this fic. |
Guest chapter 17 . 1/20 Love the world building, but I find the mc’s while “morality is subjective, just hide rather than fight, and Voldemort is simply fighting a war” to be such a stupid philosophy 101 moment. He doesn’t care about the war, but for some reasons he cares about the statue of secrecy? Based on his logic about running away, why can’t he do the same? Why ignore Voldemort’s war crimes but then act as if the SOS is something he’s right in interfering with. It’s honestly funny that he talks about Harry being an a Gary teenager but the MC is being the stereotypical angsty “everything is subjective” that you often see with teenager who knows a bare minimum of philosophy. Sorry for the rant but I really enjoy everything except for how ridiculous some of the mc’s thoughts are. Like yes it’s a war, and it’s subjective, but Voldemort’s attack on innocents can be seen as a bad thing independent of the Ministey’s corruptions or the social problems of magical Britain. It’s not this black and white thing that the MC is making it out to be |
