Another lovely chapter! Doku's feelings towards his brother and his master and also how he feels about what he's done to his mother are very clearly described. Well Done! You have practically written a POV for evey Saiyuki character and they are all extremely good! Not many manage to capture the essence of such a variety of characters so well!
Another thing, don't worry about your chapters being short. You write POVs and these are the character's deepest thoughts and feelings and quite honestly, i don't really believe that you can put such feelings in a lot of words and still keep their intensity. We can never describe what we truly feel, that's why 'i love you' is hardest to say when you mean it!
