wow this was certainly a new refreshing take on a Harry Daphne relationship i really enjoyed Daphne's love for quidditch and aspirations.

excellent, yet another great fic find

A really nice story so far. Honestly such a pleasant surprise.

Your prose, dialogue and characterisation is easily better than most on this site. Seriously well done and you should be commended for it.

If I may offer a suggestion, I would say that diverging from canon is what will really set your story apart. HBP was such a terrible book (possibly the worst) and was essentially a long, tedious setup for DH. *Any* divergence from canon here would be universally welcomed IMO, no matter what it may be (and it certainly doesn't have to be universal-altering or anything like that, but at least enough to alter the plotline).

Otherwise, it's hard to build any sort of tension in a story where everyone already knows what is going to happen at every step of the way even if it is from another perspective.

I was actually sad when I saw that this was at 20k words over nearly two and a half years. That isn't a criticism, just musing aloud how much of a bummer that is. Good writers, it seems, rarely have prolific output.

Anyway, thank you for an enjoyable read and good luck with everything going forward.

This is an interesting story with which I've just caught up. Your characters seem consistent so far and thoughtfully developed. Curious to see how you'll handle the Ginny monster issues particularly as a fic written from the Daphne pov won't know they existed over the summer. Maybe they didn't? In any case, curious to see where you take this and thankful for your hard work on it.

This is a wonderful slow burn. I'm so sad it's only up to ch. 4. Can't wait for the next installment.
