also, no idea where all the questions about stealing the boosted gear were coming from. What you said about him working for his strength and not taking being willing to take a shortcut makes sense, but I also figured he just wouldn't want to murder an innocent, what with the way people are so wary of yako kitsune. I think I remember Inari giving him a "sharp" look when he first mentioned hunting to gain strength before he clarified it would be bounty hunting.

well, Rias' peerage only became broken after Issei came in. which means they practically need to spend a lot of years had there are no conflicts or Issei around with them to reach a higher level. as far as I can see, without issei around, Rias' peerage is bound to fail. rias will marry riser probably if Sirzechs didn't find a way to break it. kiba will die at the hands of kokabiel and his minions because of his revenge. koneko probably stunted without using senjutsu. akeno will forever hate fallen angel and her growth also stunted. the vampire crosdresser (forgot his name) will be useless and a burden. xenovia die and so does Asia. the others won't even have a chance to meet Rias. everything came to Issei in the end, had he not there, they wouldn't be broken

I don't really understand why he didn't try to get the Boosted Gear, from what I can piece together he sees it as an easy power and he wants to work for his power? At least that's what I understood but I feel that's a bit out of character for Daichi. That doesn't mean I will be leaving though, I am looking forward to seeing more of this.
