Reviews for The Sinking of NĂºmenor
Random Poster chapter 1 . 12/6/2018
Hilarious.

On a different note, I rather think "maia" is the singular form.
Cupcake155 chapter 1 . 11/19/2014
Hahaha!
Lol chapter 1 . 2/2/2010
Bloody Brilliant. I think I just heard Tolkien rolling in his blessed beloved grave. Please do continue to write uplifting stories in which A Large Number of Fae never grace our presence again. Oh, and Nienna? Real women have curves.

Baa.
The Forgotten One chapter 1 . 2/15/2009
I must say, that was quite an enjoyable little read.

And Nienna, just because you have a little junk in your immortal trunk doesn't make you any less attractive.
Phil Boswell chapter 1 . 5/29/2008
The only small nitpick I can manage is that you seem to have missed Olorin/Mithrandir out of your Dramatis Personae, but that's hardly a show-stopper.

I sniggered all the way through, thank you for that ;-)
whitewave16 chapter 1 . 4/18/2008
Loved this very very funny! Esp. the Valar's antics and the rivalry between Gil Galad and the Sindar.
sazza-da-vampire chapter 1 . 7/15/2007

Eternal Raine chapter 1 . 5/12/2005
Hilarious. And very informative.
spacellamaprincess chapter 1 . 11/20/2004
Special lembas, eh? I'll bet! This was hilarious, from hauty Gil-G to the fable-esque "and that is why there are ..." message (utterly brilliant). I won't ruin it for those folks who haven't read, but this is elven marketing at it's height! Or rather, "Operation Oropher's Cunning Plan That Proves Once and For All The Sindar Are Better Shut Up Gil-Galad You Prick What Did You Just Say About My Mother." In conclusion, I just have one substantive thing to say about this story: Ba. [I originally wrote this comment for the MEFAwards voting, but thought I'd copy it here because a) I wanted you to know how fantabulous it was, and b) I wanted to up your review count. :) ]
Hail the Warrior chapter 1 . 11/16/2004

Absolutely delightful: Just the right mix of creativity, references, and a truly delightful narrative voice. reminds me of Henry Fielding, it does.
Sigil Galen chapter 1 . 6/29/2004
Just found this today and haven't been able to stop giggling. You are a mad genius! Brilliant!
Aleviel chapter 1 . 6/28/2004
Oh. My. Gawd. That has got to be the _funniest_ thing I have _ever_ read. I swear I laughed for 10 straight minutes before I could stop long enough to review. And since I am at the library, my hysterical giggling has attracted attention. Must run now...
J chapter 1 . 6/23/2004
